Sometimes a Hard Disk that pulled out from the source might just be the problem. In that case all you need to do is to unscrew the HDD cover and pull the HDD back in and your problem is solved.

I had replaced the hard drive and sata cable. No matter what I do it still says no boot device 3f0. I try to boot from the hard drive, network adaptor, legacy, defaults. Etc. And it still says no boot device found.

Hi! I cannot find my first question to you and your answer. I read it few days ago but I couldn't do right away your suggestion. The problem of my laptop is that, I can only boot windows installed in the hard drive if the installation CD is inserted in the optical drive. After removing the installation CD and restarting the laptop, this shows up " media test failure, check cable and no bootable device ". Your suggested that after removing the windows installation CD, I will go to BIOS and make sure that the first boot device is set to the primary hard drive. In the bIOS of my laptop, there are 3 choices in the boot menu: 1. Windows Boot Manager, 2. CD/DVD Drive, and 3. Network: Realtek PXE B03 D00. I think the Windows boot manager is the first priority, however, same problem is coming out... Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Well it works thanks and the other way is inserting a windows bootable flash drive and boot to drive if it is windows 8-10 first when it shows languge and the other things press next then press on repair next teroubbleshooter finaly automatic repair and it will come as dignosing your pc and when it restarts it might work

I switched in the bios settings the boot mode from both to only legacy and from then my pc boots only network but it cant unfortunately . And i tried everything to get in the bios again to change it back, but it didnt work. It sayed at the corner of the screen that the bios settings were loading, but then the next display is network booting. And yes both is working fine, but i cant get in the bios. Please help 🙏

If this method doesn't work then you can try mounting your hard disk more precisely and make sure that hard disk don't move .In my case hard disk was not fixed and moving, I fix a piece of paper so that it can stop and mounted it firmly and precisely into the port. Hope this helps

@@anamanoel1732 Hi, Bios normally opens up with a Function key. Each brand has this setup on different key. i suggest google your brand name with model no followed by "function key". alternatively you can try pressing F1 to F12 at the time of boot and see if it open up bios setting. There you will find this option to change from legacy to UEFI

@@syedarham7931 thank you so much. Mine is a Toshiba Satelite R830 and the key is f2. I changed the boot options and none of them worked and I can't find sny options to change from legacy to UEFI. Could that be under a different name? I don't understand about computers, only use them. I dont really know what else to try. I watched every video on the same errors but mine doesn't work. There are options I don't see in my computer . I changed the driver but nothing changed. I get the same messages. I read somewhere that taking the little batery and put it back on could work, I don't even know where that batery is. Thanks anyway.

@@pewds9955 I sent it to a PC repair shop my friend recommended to me, the entire laptop was reset because the hard drive was "packed up" but I've tried my best to get everything back installed, anyway hope this helped. There is a chance everything won't be reset but it depends on how dislocated your hard drive is (I'm not an expert btw so I could be wrong)
