How to fix MTB sealed bearings and bring them back to life

You are freaking nuts!!!!!!! My Breville blender was for a full week getting repair and the a sealed bearing was shot.. Waited and waited for guy to call me and always a wrong bearing.. I just opened the bearing, greased it and freaking wooooorkssss!!! Waaaaaaat!!! Thank youuuuuuuu!

A little extra tip and some advice...dont use a craft blade to clean out the rubber seal! A toothpick will do the job and is a lot gentler on the seal. Also packing a cartridge bearing too tightly with a thick grease will prevent the individual bearings from doing their job. What will happen instead is the bearings will SKID against the race as a result of being inhibited for movement. You will more than half the life of the bearing by packing it too tight! No manufacturer, even marine bearings dont do that. Give the little guys the space they need with a light grease and they will do their job just fine.

The previous video said if you fill the bearing up with grease it will overheat and fail. He said 1/4 full. I'm confused to which is right? Maybe there is a reason new bearings aren't packed full of grease? Surely they aren't just skimping on a few cents of grease.

A method I do with inline skate Bearings which are pretty much similar , is take off the outer seals drop them all in a pop bottle of white spirits/ degreaser shake the bottle leave for awhile drain out bearings leave on kitchen paper dry with a hair dryer then regrease.

Been doing it for years with my skate Bearings and they very similar to frame bearings so couldn't see why they cant be done this way

Lmao!!!!! Ummmm? Our local bike shop is bullshit! They only provided a group bike theropy outside of the shop! Anything inside the shop was a hassle! And idk why? I even started yet again by complementing and was told I could bring the part in to have it measured and ordered! Nope! Wow! So whats really going on? Whats the bugging, inconsistant and all of a sudden kind and organised for? Oh right glasses twit that was old right? Sketchy to say the least! Really its not about time windows! No one seemed to ever care about buisness as far as I remember! To much weird non sence! Awesome video when a person makes the effort to seperate anything unwanted for thier health reasons!
