Hey Alice, and everyone who sees this, if you take baby powder (or talcan powder) and mix it into your dolls hair it makes not greasy! It also lightens the hair to give it a pastel kinda look! :D hope this helped!

I watched this video already but when I did I heard that fabric softner worked well with the ponies plastic hair...I thought what else has plastic hair? My monster high dolls!! So I grabbed all my monster high dolls that had really bad hair from being in a box and got my mom to do the same thing that she did in the video to fix the frizz and it worked ...I was so happy to find out that fabric softner helps get rid of frizz and helps fix pony hair. I didn't know if it would work on my monster high dolls but it did. I also did the same with two ponies I got that were used before I got them though the ponies hair is slightly uneven because they were used...

Back when I collected mlp I used this trick all the time, I read it on some blog. I'm really glad someone is finally making a video on it. A suggestion I have is to put the mix in a spray bottle and spray their hair while brushing through it. I had this G3 that had horrible hair and was able to fix it using this.

PopsiCoolToys that also works for monster high dolls. My mom tried it on my monster high dolls because their hair was worse than any pony in the video. So if you have any monster high dolls you could use the same trick if needed..

I use baby shampoo on my ponies. It helps untangle and keep future tangles at bay, and while the manes and tails are saturated in the baby shampoo I brush through them from the ends to the roots as I find that helps to smooth the manes/tails and make it easier to wrap around the legs or the neck without stray finicky pieces wanting to be a pain lol.

What about wetting the hair with warm water, putting in and lathering conditioner/shampoo then wash it out, brushing the hair gently starting from the ends working my way up then style it however I want?

you can use hot water and naturally dry it out (blow drying works but it can cause minor damage)

Be extra cautious when brushing! I tried doing this on some phony ponies I own (that I still love) and while the first one had no issues, the second one her tail ripped out immediately with a single brush. These ponies came in a set of four with varying colors so they're all the same. I'm pretty sad as they're very small and I'm not sure I can put her tail back in but I'll certainly try once they're dry.

any brush works. you can even use the comb that came with the pony, but i’d use one with thinner teeth to be more careful and get every strand. thick ones do the trick, too, but y’know. i dont think i’d get into every piece
