How to Fix Not Connecting to Wifi Internet on Xbox Series X|S (Fast Tutorial)

To fix the issue of not connecting to Wi-Fi internet on Xbox Series X|S, you can try the following steps:
Check if the Wi-Fi router is working and reboot it if necessary.
Make sure the Wi-Fi credentials are correct on the Xbox.
Try plugging in an ethernet cord and update the Xbox.

Alternate MAC address and then clearing and restarting fixed my issue. Was not detecting any Wi-Fi networks at all. Cleared and then did a restart and now everything is showing back up again. Thanks so much!

Turn off the console and unplug the power cable from the wall outlet. Let it stay unplugged for at least 2-3 minutes. Once you plug in the power cable, HOLD the SYNC and EJECT button at the same time and press the POWER BUTTON. Don't let go of the SYNC and EJECT button until you see a Troubleshooter Menu pop up on screen. Once you are on the menu, select RESET THIS XBOX Then choose KEEP GAMES AND APPS.

After so many troubleshooting i literally just turned off sleep mode and went to power saving instead, turned off and turned it back on and i was able to connect.

Swapping to another port was what helped me out this time. I try everything else and the only thing that works without fail is to unplug the wifi and the modem, wait, then plug them back in. That works fine, but it also disconnects everything else connected to it in the house, so if this alternate port method works for me every time, i’ll be one happy camper

Changing the dns worked for me this time… this is frustrating none of my other devices have this problem and I really never had this problem with x box one. Microsoft needs to fix this ASAP

If you’ve tried everything to fix your connection issue, *AND* you have a WiFi booster plugged in, then try to reset the WiFi booster, because the booster can sometimes glitch out and interfere with the connection from your WiFi to your Xbox.
