You are a life saver. I soaked an X Arcade joystick board completely with beer lol. Buttons are sooo sticky. This will help me.

Some of My buttons have lost there super spring action Is there a place to buy just the springs and rebuild what I have ? I’m wanting to keep my original parts if possible in my contra arcade
@MattyMosArcade2 жыл бұрын
Buttons are about $5 each or less. I’d buy those and use the new springs, save the rest as spare parts.

Do you ever replace the button springs? Are they the same as the joystick springs?
@MattyMosArcade3 жыл бұрын
Only if it is rusty or damaged. Ive never seen a spring in a joystick.

My problem is when i open my buttons they dont have any spring on them. Help
@MattyMosArcade Жыл бұрын
I would just order new buttons. You definitely need the spring. I have buttons in almost every color on my website. www.mattymosarcade.com

Are the springs replaceable, and if so, with what spring?
@MattyMosArcade5 жыл бұрын
Buttons only cost about $5. Its easiest to replace the whole thing if needed.
@jesuszamora69495 жыл бұрын
@@MattyMosArcade True, but springs would be cheaper. Not only that, but you theoretically could experiment with harder or softer springs.

I´ve got an arcade button that is indeed stuck when pushed. Would it be the microswitch or the buttonspring that is stuck or used?
@antoniolopezramirez77503 жыл бұрын
Is it best to order a replacement button and microswitch? Or just the microswitch?
@MattyMosArcade3 жыл бұрын
The spring most likely. Soak it and you should be good.
@antoniolopezramirez77503 жыл бұрын
@@MattyMosArcade It was indeed the spring. Cleaned out the buttons and soaked the spring. Works like a charm! Tnx
