The PON light blinking indicates a problem with the PON connection, or the port is not getting the normal optical signal.
The following are some of the causes of the Error:
• Faulty cable or connection
• Network infrastructure issue

Check the connection
• At the back of the device, inspect the PON connection.
• Check if it is loosely connected.
• Connect it firmly if it's loosely connected, and ensure the fiber lead is securely connected.
Power Cycle the Router or ONT
• Disconnect Ethernet connections on the device
• Power off the router or ONT and unplug the power cable
• Leave the device off for approximately fifteen seconds
• Plug the power cable in and switch on the router
• Monitor the router and check if the issue is resolved.
Reset the Router or ONT
• If power cycling does not resolve the issue, factory reset the device.
• Locate the reset button or hole on the router or ONT.
• Press and hold the reset button with a paperclip for approximately fifteen seconds
• The router will revert to the factory default settings, and therefore, you will need to reconfigure it.
• Open a web browser on your phone.
• Enter the default IP address of your router's administration, such as 192.168.0.1
• Once the router's administration interface comes up, log in using the credentials on the router or the user manual.
• Set up your router with your preferred network settings
• Once you have reconfigured the device, monitor the router and check if the problem persists
If the PON light still blinks, contact support for further guidance, as the issue may be due to a problem with the network infrastructure.
