This was brilliant! I tried the easy fix first and it was not enough. I came to search a better solution and found this tutorial. This SAVED my audio!!!

It is my critical opinion that this video should have at least 21,000 views by this point. There is nothing but true value here. Good job fellas.

You know there’s times where you question if we should keep pushing our content and then along comes a really positive comment like this and it all makes sense again. It’s my critical opinion that you’ve made my day dude. Thanks a bunch 🙌🙌

You gained a subscriber, sir! You even read my mind and addressed the next logical question - how to combat the hissing that arises when turning up gain. Thank you so much for your help!

This helped a ton. Streamed recently on tiktok and their software is ... well its something. Wanted to save a clip, but the game was too dank and our voices too quiet. It's not the best, but tons better than before. Thanks.

Oh look, I'm the first to comment, what a fanboy. This is a really useful audio tip, probably the best thing a YT creator can learn for better audio, IMHO. 🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉

Hello! Thank you for making this tutorial it is going to save the audio in my video. Is there a way to update the single band compressor levels on multiple clips all at once? It does not let me select all and update the DB or threshold for all clips.
@120fps4 жыл бұрын
The best way to achieve this, is to place the compressor on the audio track mixer. This way the one instance of the compressor applies to all clips on that track (eg all clips on A1). This is how I tend to work, seperating different recordings onto different tracks.

NO. The one question everyone is asking but nobody is answering is: Why is the audio LEVEL, the actual sound that you HEAR while EDITING, so pathetically LOW compared to either the source files or the rendered output files being played in literally anything else, such as VLC. Why? Why do we struggle to hear what's going on, only to be blasted half deaf when hearing it raw or finished? Can it be fixed? How?

holy fucking shit this might save me, just asking is this the same for Sony Vegas? Again you guys are lifesavers thank you
@120fps3 жыл бұрын
Yeah this is the same in all editors. It’s a technique I used when working in music studios ALL the time.

So.. this video shows audio is hitting 100% where every other video on youtube is only hitting 50% or lower... obviously it's not my computer having the problem then.. people just suck at making ivdeos.
@120fps4 жыл бұрын
It’s totally the one area everyone neglects here. Decent levels, audio quality in general and my pet hate, where music is WAY too loud!! I know we dont always get it perfect but it’s one area I always put a lot of work into. Thanks for being here dude 🙌🙌
