What software should i use for recording instruments?

Are these cameras discontinued? I can’t find anything online about them and they’re sold out everywhere with no waitlist.

i bought this model and this one has serious signal dropout issues in the outdoor applications and has got bad hissing. i dont recommend at all for professional shoots. The charge wil be down after 4 hours. Better option is to buy hollyland m2 which holds its charge up 8 hours with highest quality sample conversions.

Thank you so much for sharing. I am about to be selling a house and with some of the proceeds building out a studio. I am currently researching everything and I really appreciate this video. Thank you so much.

Who cares if: 1. They were products release at the on-set of COVID and production issues arose. 2. The demand (because of smart phones) was low. 3. They were hard to find retail since the beginning and now due to #1 and #1 nearly impossible to find less than $1000 USD on the used market.

I'd never heard of Olfi. I used to buy those generic "action cameras" you can pick up for around £40 from Home bargains but then I saw someone on eBay selling an Olfi one five, plus 3 batteries, all the accessories plus the case. I won it for a grand total of £50 and I've never looked back. It is quite simply a fantastic camera. So good in fact, I've also just recently won a first gen Olfi with all the accessories and extra battery for £37 and even this blew me away..

@120fps11 ай бұрын
yeah for sure use an external mic, the internal mics aren't the best. The XLR preamps are good though.

Why does this microphone use a battery if it needs power from the SamartPhone (3V) to work? Why doesn't it connect directly to audio consoles like the Boya?

These cameras have gone way up in price. They are starting to be collectors items. The good thing is, Kingston makes memory cards for them now that work with no problem. You can get new cages for them now with HDMI locks, so you don't damage the fragile HDMI port. You can get a Smallrig NPF battery adapter for them now, so the battery last over 2.5 hours. A simple color space transform in Davinci will get your raw files looking fantastic, and you can tweak from there. If you need a better screen, you can add a cheap monitor. You can rig it out and it will still fit on your average gimbal. You can put on a Wireless Go and get good audio. There are better cameras out there, but the OG will force you to get better, since you have to do everything manually, plus they are fun to use.

Hi… Is it correct that this plugin is not free anymore? 😭
@120fps Жыл бұрын
It is still free. The option is to “pay what you want” so you type in the amount. Some folks like to support the site. But you’re more than welcome to just type 0 in, that’s totally cool.

Seriously though, I had to go down to 1/15 and it doesn’t look right when panning. So that doesn’t help record clean footage. And the anti-flicker settings don’t assist either for filming a Christmas tree and Pam at 24fps. Anyone?

Thank you for the video. I bought this camera used about a year ago and love it for shooting opportunities wherein I don't feel like carrying my DSLRs. This camera suits street photography very well which is why it stays with me all the time. However, it's not a low-light camera despite having a very wide aperture for a point & shoot camera. The tiny sensor packs 20 megapixels which is just gimmicky nothing else. This translates to approximately 55 megapixels on a full frame sensor. This means, the pixels are very very small. As a result I get poor high ISO performance from this camera. It's certainly not a low light camera. Larger sensors and bigger pixels are indispensable for good low-light and high ISO performances. Thanks again.

AF-D lenses are superb for the price on Nikon DSLR that can drive the AF. I still don't understand with all those prime on Z format became so huge, long, and heavy (except for those in pancake format); I thought that reducing the distance between the ring and the sensor will help to design more compact and efficient lenses, but it is not... or Nikon just reuse old optical formulas in new packages ? That's why I keep my "old" DSLR and still shoot with these small and cheap AF-Ds.... 24, 50, 85, 180, ..... I love all of them

I bought this camera on eBay a few months before this video came out. I don't use it too often but I really like it. I mostly do video work with my similarly old GH4, but It's nice to have a super feature packed point it shoot with decent optics. I do wish it came with an audio input to really complete the whole package, but a small external recorder isn't the worst thing in the world. That full EVF is great and gives it that mini mirrorless look, but hurts the pocketability!
