I had this problem with a Mazda 3. Disconnecting the hood switch stopped the alarm from randomly going off, but created another problem. A few weeks later I noticed my battery was being drained. I checked the circuit for the door monitoring system and noticed there was a high draw. I fixed the issue by soldering the wires of the hood switch together to complete the circuit.

@@hizonberg Then its one of the doors. A scan tool is needed to figure out which door on the older models. The door lock actuator contains a circuit for monitoring the door locks.

This sensor is on the left of hood latch, just unscrew it and put it aside, just dont use it. You will not have anymore random alarm going off. You still be able to lock and unlock your car normally, but car alarm will not work. In case someone breaks in your car, there will be no alarm.

@@elipymentGG Beside the hood latch. Be aware that the drivers door is a common cause of the alarm going off. The door lock actuator has an alarm circuit in it.

@@bobsoftit stopped for a bit when I got a new battery but now in the Summer it’s happening again I tried key fob battery I tried everything it stills goes off randomly if I lock it or if it’s just in the middle of the day or when I unlock it so yeah I don’t know anymore I took out the fuse… I don’t know much about the door sensors or what not what should I do about that? You got any suggestions? Maybe buy a new fuse for the alarm?
