same, i had a cheap chinese mouse and had it for YEARS and had no issue, even when i practically abuse the thing. then i had a logitech g102 and razer deathadder essential and they both started having issues pretty fast. logitech around 3 months, razer around 6 months

Honestly I love mine. Mightve been a newer model. Bought it like 2.5 years ago. But I am not easy on mice. It's Honestly kinda embarrassing to admit but I slam them sometimes playing games, and this mouse's durability is astonishing. I have no idea how it is not broken. Thought it finally fizzled out on me but nope. The power connector was just loose inside. I even got a loose plastic piece out and it stopped rattling.

Thanks! I was honestly expecting to trash the mouse switch, but it's always fun to learn. To my surprise, it works! at least so far. To anyone trying this though, when you remove the cover of the switch, there should be an ident that looks something like |¯¯V¯¯| which is the shape of the bottom part of the cover itself, it shouldn't take to much force to remove. I was prying from further bellow and almost broke the entire switch off the board lol

you have to remove the tape when putting it back together. I put the tape so the tiny thing inside the switch does not fly off

No cannot change the switch. But the copper inside you can swap from left and right click switches.

Razer is going to shitty quality. I already had 3 razers, not a gamer but i love the ergonomics BUT all of them had problems after 3-4 years. Scroll works bad jumps up when i scroll down, i click once and it registers 2 clics, scroll click had to do a lot of pressure to accept it, right click also a lot of pressure etc Tired of this, changing to Steelseries or Logitech etc

The switch is already inside the mouse. There are switches that you can buy online it should have a name on the side of the switch. But on this video it's just re-using the same mouse switch not replacing it.

that tiny thing will fly out if you don't tape it. The tape is optional but make sure your workspace is lighted well in case parts fall off somewhere.
