This was super helpful. I have heard for years people tell me about my face and I didn’t realize how bad it was until I was given a candid photo of myself. I looked very unapproachable and angry. I really do not want to come off like that to anyone. I don’t have to money for surgical correction so for now I’ll be careful to be conscious of my facial expressions. I’ve even began practicing in the mirror. I am 37 and the lines are noticeably getting wore🤦🏼♀️

Very insightful and informative - thank you Dr Ben. Could you make a video on malar bags/ festoons? I have slight malar bags and I dint know if it is from the result of eye filler several years ago or ageing? Probably both! Not sure how to treat it. Thank you

It’s probably filler. An MRI scan will show you to be sure

I literally have an 11 between my eyes, Bassett hound eyes, and the most naturally down turned mouth on the planet. Comically Stat. I can actually look intimidating. I look so angry all the time and I am not. I need botox, fillers and a thread lift stat. I also need to win the lottery.

Hi. I have RBF and I'm very self conscious about how it looks. I don't I need a deep plane lift. How long to you think botox will last in the mouth area?
@susi56932 жыл бұрын
Thanks doctor for yr explanation. I have furrowed brow since long time ago may be due to stress at the office then i did several times botox in that area and later i notice my right eye became phytosis so i did it corrected twice with a reputable doctor in Korea ( dr.kim at bando eye and dr Song) but both only last a year then back to phytosis again. Im frustation and feel blue. I have also a deep smile line on my right face. Would you pls give me a suggestion what the best treatment could be done to fix these issues. Do you think forehead fat grafting can solve it? Do you know who is a reliable doctor to fix it? Thanls a lot doc and God bless you🙏

I’m probably a slight a down talker and my bite was messed up. I started orthodontics 2 years ago and it’s helping, but the tension in my face is still there (probably due to habit). Would you recommend Botox temporarily to retrain those muscles or what?? I’m 34 and can tell my face has changed and I’m trying to get back to healthy!

Could you make a video about surgical scar remediation? I had a liplift, where the surgeon decided to " make" the nose sill, which I didn't have. This resulted in a long scar in the middle of my face.

Well it a RBF keeps your face young as you don't develop those dynamic wrinkles from expressions, i am in my 30s and do not have any wrinkles what so ever haha, my mother have RBF too, spite being 51 years old she looks like she's in her early 30s and is still challenged for id when buying alcohol which i think is funny.

I've been DIY injecting botox for the last 8 months and the RBF/lip flip injections are my favorite. DIY is easy and safe if you follow (online) instructions. What is even better is spending ~$100 for $2000 of "botox" and knowing, if I need a touch up, it isn't going to cost much (in time or money).

@Eusebio Duran I'm a college professor.. I've already had enough school... ;) I do it myself because Tox injections are unreasonably expensive, especially if you want your masseters done.

@@lmariew how did you get past the fear of injecting yourself?
@lmariew Жыл бұрын
@@loannebhold Honestly I'm not a fearful person. I've been followed by the KGB when working in Russia and didn't blink, amongst other stories I won't bore you with... For most people, start slow and see the benefit. NUMB! (Pain is stupid.) Then try injecting saline. Then go bigger each time, with the understanding that you are also learning about your anatomy. LISTEN to your body. I've learned to pull out if there is pain, as I likely hit a vein or nerve. No loss... I move on to an other spot. (I had an oops recently, so am waiting for the 'Tox to wear off. No biggie... it is all part of the learning. Who knew my muscles were "masculine"?...) This is a process of self discovery and an understanding that MDs/RNs are not the smartest people on the planet. They are TRAINED. You can get the same, if not more, training from watching injections and anatomy lessons on YT.

I smile too all the time. Especially when I’m nervous I’ll start to smile. When I used to go over the border into Buffalo New York from Canada to go on a shopping spree, I would buy groceries, no more than $25 worth and I would show them the bill but because I’m petite I would wear two or three suits underneath my clothes. The whole time the customs officer was asking me what I bought I guess I was smiling the whole time and he asked me if I thought he was funny? I was quite embarrassed. However I do notice that I’m always smiling even when I shouldn’t be and probably have offended many people in my life. This was very interesting. Thank you so much Dr. Talei….Take good care, Susan
