Holy crap my RGH wouldnt boot because I was charging my e-cigarette last time I was playing. I connected it again and it booted with no problem.

Put a new blank launch.ini on a USB the reason why it's shutting down is because it's either a plugin that is corrupt or the console is trying to load it and it's not able to access it so it turns off as a failsafe.

If you guys still cant get in, here is what I did. Make sure the dashlaunch.ini is on your USB. Plug USB into the RGH. After powering it up, exactly when you start seeing the white screen, pull out your USB. Then wait for a bit. Like 40 sec. Try it couple of times if it doesnt work.

unplug cable watch a films or something plug cable back in should work if your on a slim trinity its a common problem just mean your chip is 60% boot time, Ither that or your console is bricked which means you need a reflash

Trippy hippy I found a way, turn Xbox on he press eject a second later without loading up xex reboot then once ur in go to neighbourhood or dash launch and delete the sketchy file such as a old or unresponsive stealth server bro I hope this works... if you want I can give you a link to all the files you need ? For some reason when I got into the normal dash after pressing eject all my plugins were still there and worked?!

Trippy hippy once you've deleted the sketchy xex file or something reboot your Xbox back to normal and it'll work hopefully

I just did my thermal paste first time and thought I messed it up but forgot going down the list on what new stuff I did which was after doing that I tried to install the Xbox original emulator so I can play halo 2 but the USB being plugged in had other files on it that cause fatal crash thanks once I saw you pull the hdd I was like well I don't wanna do that because mines fine it was either the USB or the x clamps, but I guess I am the shit haha.

Well the Video is Old but maybe my comment will help also :D So Xbox 360 with RGH mostyle freezes while booting ( black screen ) when you have connected some USB devices onto it, like Pendrive, USB Card Reader, HDD etc It's beacuse of maybe two things, 5V power supply on the console with connected Coolrunner or other RGH board Or beacuse while booting the console is searching for RGH firmware and stucks on USB devices The best thing to do is buy some Laptop HDD WD series, like 500GB, flash xbox360 firwmare and stop using pendrive - buying and flashing those hdds is much cheaper than looking for original Xbox HDD .

Make a text file and rename it to launch.ini, and then put it on a usb and plug it in or use nieghboorhood, and then reboot and hold power button down for 10 secounds.
