about ur launch options, dont just paste that you need to put how many threads and cores UR pc have ex -cpuCount=8 -exThreads=16 for the ram its better to put 2k below how much memory you have example 32gb ram -maxMem=30000 @faderade pin this

Honestly you should be safe and put 4k below the memory since Windows takes 4gb of RAM just while your PC is on average and Rust eats all your RAM too so if you have 16gb or less, put -maxMem=12000

for me it was ram, with 16gb i had terrible stutters on rust, went to 64gb ram and it fixed everything

my rust keeps getting lagg back every 10-15 min so if im out farming my player keeps lagging back and ive died waaay to many times to animals and other players while getting this lagg. will this fix it? i have amd ryzen 7 5800x 8-core 16gb ram and a RTX 3070Ti so its not a bad pc that i have i would say

@@zacharybayer4406 i still get some lagg but its not as bad when i play on EU server, so if you live in US or EU try playing on them servers and see if you feel any difference.

Not sure if this is for everybody but i notice when my browser or/and discord is closed, it decreases stuttering, prob a RAM issue since firefox eats memory

I've done all the fixes in the video as well as reinstalling rust but still have a constant stutter issue. My game runs 130-140fps consistently but randomly screen freezes for a moment every 15-20 seconds. I don't believe its a ram issue as I have 32GB of DDR5. Does anyone have any other solutions that may help? Rust is the only game I have this issue on and it occurs regardless of what in game settings I have enabled.

@@videzzz9884 I ended up figuring out the issue but it might not be pertinent. I have an AMD card and had to disable AMD Fluid Motion Frames. I didn't know what it did but it seems extremely unnecessary and more likely to cause issues than help your game.

i have rust on; SSD, 16gb 3600mhz ram, r7 5800x3d rx6800xt and i still get stutters in both 1080p and 1440p. This game is asking to be uninstalled and deleted. i have 2k hours and the stutters are the worst they have been ever, im sure the game is badly optimised and then need to stop pushing new shitty content and fix performance.... i get 150fps and still i stutter...... ive ddu amd drives ive reset windows ive done everything and it still doesnt work....

Cause he is dimwit dog. Lodbias 5 gives -10-20% fps and he didn’t explain how correct set launch options. Try remove all launch options and set lodbias to 0.5 (don’t try lower then 0.5, won’t see people in distance)

@@finelay727 changing res doesnt boost your fps (at least for me) But most of the time your fps are determined by things like the amount of players, the size of the map, the amount of builds, monuments, etc... basically inevitable things
