How to fix Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10" not turning on

My kids Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10" wasn't charging or turning on.
So I removed the back plate and unseated the battery connection for 15 seconds.
After that, it started charging and turned on... for now.
My kid beats the crap out of these things.

Worked for me just unplugged battery cable for a minute ... connected it back conected charger, tablet started charging

So let me explain what i did and if you can help me then i would be very happy. My tab 3 wouldn't charge and I thought that my battery was the problem. I bought a completely new stock one. Then I thought a factory reset would help because I've had black screens or not charging issues before. I searched a lot of tutorials for doing it on you tube and I did all the steps accordingly. My tablet restarted, on the screen appeared the "samsung galaxy tab 3" thing and from then it stays like this continuously. I don't know what to do anymore. Help!

sounds like you need to do a hard reset. Have you tried that?

it under warranty? if not, take it apart, reset the battery. if that doesn't work, take it to a local cell phone shop and see if they can repair it.
