Hi there, great video. Could you give me some pointers? I'm looking to replace the braids on my cars and I know how to fit them but not sure where to buy them. Can I use 3mm desoldering braid? I've got a bunch to replace so I'd rather buy a roll than pre-cut bits

Hi , and thanks for the comment. I only ever bought from Ebay- but they are cheap. I have noticed someone is selling a load for £9.99?? If ur in Uk that is. If not- I presume you can buy a roll of the correct size and cut it down . Yorky

Do you recommend regularly greasing the gears? If so what would be best to use?

Hi , I would use a light oil ( 3:1) maybe 1 a month- if you use car regularly. Thanks Yorky

Just seen this me I got blue EDF race car I after repair back spoiler wer can replace part cos need some work done so it can up running former glory as well parts for head lights back and front it real help cos need unsure some thing I inbox you thanks 👍

Hope you didn’t trash the motor, usually if you keep shocking them, it will get alive again, it’s like a human hurt, many times they just got stuck

Just wondering, as I'm in the process of repairing a few old cars myself- how can you tell by looking at it that the motor is shot? Cheers.

Hi. you cant tell by looking at it. But just put the transformer onto one piece of track- check its working with a good car- then just try all the other cars out.
