For everyone having the same problem. The solution is probably the battery management system board. It is under this blue foil packaging of the battery cells. I managed to fix mine by removing the foil and the battery management system board. On there I had several spots where the solder joints where bad. Vibrations are bad for solder joints. Very bad. You can measure the voltage of the battery on the black and red cables coming out of the battery pack. You will see that it is not empty. The BMS is not working and restricts current flow. So you need to remove the packaging of the battery, remove the BMS board and check solder spots especially the ones of the chips and just resolder them. Ideally if you have a multimeter check the parts on it. Keep in mind that most battery cells are spot welded to the contacs of the BMS board. That means that most of the time, if the side with the parts is not visible, you need to cut the metal connections to remove the board or remove the spot welded contacts. If you dont have a spot welder to reconnect the cells to the board you need to solder it which can be very tricky depending on what solder wire you have and the materials you working with.

will the battery work without the BMS board? can I just remove it?
@DaKosi5 күн бұрын
@@romanmerlino9130 I don't know if it will work without it. It probably will. But the BMS is there for a reason. It stops charging the batteries without overcharging, it cuts off when it gets too hot etc. For security reasons it should be used with a bms. But I am not experienced enough to make a recommendation. From what I know, it is safer to use it with bms.

At at 2:08 Seriously man? That's very irresponsible. Why would you ever tell someone to take a Lithium Battery apart and throw it in water? Doing this is dverydangerous and there's a high chance the battery will explode and/or create a house fire.
@DanBirdyt2 ай бұрын
ok so first of all, that was a joke (not sure how you missed that). second of all, i know exactly how dangerous that is, i have done it before. yes, it does catch on fire and then explode. yes, it does send molten lithium flying everywhere. you just drop it in the water and then stand back a bit, and (obviously) do it outside away from anything flammable. if you think that is irresponsible then you would freak out if you knew about some of the other stuff i have done lol.
