How to Fix Skyworth TV Remote that has Slow Response, Buttons Not Working, etc (3 Easy Fixes)

I give you 3 easy fixes on a where the remote is not working properly on a Skyworth Android TV (smart tv) remote controller. Maybe the remote has a delay, laggy or slow response or some buttons (not all buttons) are unresponsive or other issues. The should only help about 50% of you. Hope this helps.

Hi, wanted to ask.. how to auto connect my remote or auto pair my remote to the tv? I hate it when i keep on manually pairing it every time i on the tv.. if i use my google assist for speaking, i have to pair it first to the tv. Is there a way that it will keep on pairing?

I tried your methods and still did not work (guess I'm in the other 50%). I went into the settings and studied it. I turned off "voice talk back" feature. All the bouncing around stopped.. The remote started working. The voice talk back of course stopped. I was able to select menu options again.

If these steps didn't work with you, go to settings and delete the (TV BLE remote) and any Bluetooth connected devices in the "Remote Devices and Accessories" It really worked for me.

Thats crazy. I tried that that with this cheap piece of crap ridiculous big screen tv and the remote still works. So far so good, and the remote doesn't doesn't freeze for 5 minutes at a time.

That's not the correct way to overcome the issue, open the remote control and clean the pcb surface using contact cleaner.
