Why not just stretch the spring some to get the tension back?

I have the same blaster only mine takes a very long time to start and when I tried to kick start it there was a squeak noise do you know what it could be?

great vid. put a little blue locktite (med strength) on that nut (or bolt on other atv motorcycles) it will keep you from losing your 100$ kick starter.

The spring that came out looked the same as the one that came out of my 2001 yz125. It is about half the length it should be. I also want to say that I replaced the spring in my blaster but I am not sure.

Hey Guys, I am replacing the top of Kick Lever with an old Brass Kick Pedal I got. I am not sure hot to take the detent spring off without messing it up. Do I just pop off with a flat head? Don't think I will need it with the new Pedal because it comes with parts. It is YAMAHA TTR 110 and the lever just swings out with the rings up top. Just want the top off to replace, not whole lever...1st time doing this. Any help I would appreciate. I can't find any videos on it! Thanks!
