Try popping the sticks up and then blowing around them it will remove dust and then spin them for 50 to 80 Seconds depending on how bad drift is. If you have isopropyl alcohol ( 70% or more ) use a small amount instead of blowing .

You can buy replacement parts for $10 and install them in less then 15 minutes when watching a KZbin tutorial you can also try to clean the parts where the analog stick connects and around it using a q tip and iso all this is doing is making stick drift worse,wearing your analog sticks down and wearing the shell down.

There is more than one way do that, that makes it better and completely get rid of the stick drift. 1: spray wd 40 all around the stick thsts drifting and move the stick in a circle formation for 15 seconds then pat the stick untill all wd40 is gone 2: if you don't have wd40 turn your (ps5/ps4 only) controller around and locate a tiny hole, get something small or a paper clip to shoves inside of it and hold until the loght shuts off. This might not work for everyone so i recommend using the wd40 method and that works on xbox and play station.

The tool kit you need to fix controller’s cost less than a controller. A new joystick with two potentiometers on it is 4$. Can fix two controllers with each one if they only drift one axis.

Fix for ps4 users: Literally twist the analog left and right until nothing happens after a long time, until it feels weird, or until it clicks into place. I have opened and closed that shit like 4 times turns out that shit was literally twisted 😂😂

Found out a temporary fix until you can get a new controller go into xbox accessories then configure and swap the sticks so that left stick is right and vice versa its working great for me on rdr2 im not constantly having to adjust the camera

The slip discs inside the motion sensors are worn out stop trying to give false information there is nothing you can do when the slip discs are worn out you need to replace the slip discs to bring it back to normal no fancy movements or garbage blow machine will fix it because it's an internal problem and it won't go away until the slip discs are replaced
