Many thanks for posting this! You just saved me a lot of stress. I get this error when attempting a new XP install on an old computer, and after watching your video discovered a drive setting in the bios was set to Raid. Turned that off and it fixed the error.

In my desktop pc of windows xp during boot screen logo for few seconds, blue screen appears as STOP: 0x0000007E (.....,.....,....,.....), Next line says--> igxpmp32.sys - Address B9896F79 at ....... I checked this file in windows\system32\drivers present there...but why this same blue screen shows like this. I tried safe mode, stucked or hanged.... I also tried in BIOS settings in drive configuration, changed SATA configuration from IDE to AHCI. Nothing hsppens, same problem of blue screen of same error.. What to do by this blue screen error about 0x0000007E ? and this about igxpmp32.sys ?

You need to restore your system using startup repair (it won't delete your personal files btw) then use windows installation usb to repair startup... it might help you
