Before I totaled my 2008 Ford Ranger in 2013, the tailgate latch broke, and I had to unscrew the tailgate latch access cover to work the mechanism by hand. They use cheap plastic handles now, which from my engineering training backround are totally junk in the first place.

i’m trying to put an actuator on mine so I don’t have to put the key and every time I did the front doors so I don’t have to use the key
