MJ you give more precise, easy to follow instructions than anything I could find in the MS Word 'Help' index or anywhere else. I had a very sloppy OCR scanned pdf of a messy photocopied...and VERY loooooong...document (as well as a bunch of others I can now fix thanks to YOU). Just curious: is this procedure anywhere in the 2022 MS Word help files? If so, what would the search phrase be to find it? Anyway I echo the THANKS and relief of the other comments and have subscribed! ( though my 'Like' didn't make a dent in the 3.3K total :- ( )

A couple of other tricks to help anyone that needs the same features, Ctrl+shift+space creates a hard space (that doesn't change with justification), shift+return creates a line feed to ensure that line gets justified (unlike a standard carriage return)

Hey MJ...one question: This method worked fabulously for a long (250 page) document, but unfortunately removed ALL the paragraph codes (^p) so it is all now one continuous text versus 3 or 4 paragraphs per page. Without having to either manually 1.) restore each paragraph 'carriage return' from the original, or 2.) justify each paragraph or even page one by one, is there a way to accomplish what this video shows without affecting the existing / actual paragraphs in the original?
