@@ApacheRanch I just finished replacing the fuse box with a good used unit . I double checked all the regular fuses , installed the relays , and never noticed the fuse 52 not pushed all the way in . Your video led me right to the issue in seconds . I was about to change the fuses as I have the old ones , but , I pushed it down , click and no more light . This was the truck's last electrical issue , now she's ready to be sold . No lights on , no lights out :) , Cheers !!

Thing is, something causes the fuse to fail, unless the recommended fuse is too light for the design of the circuit. Don't know.

Might check wiring under the seats and look for a frayed wire? Something has to be causing that fuse to blow.

Got an o2 Ram , replaced heater core , put everything back together air bag light came on , replaced ignition switch sensor , air bag , clock spring . Was told it’s loosing signal from switch to module, any other ideas on why the light is still on , fuses aren’t blown idk I’m lost lol

Even with a busted main fuse and completely inoperable system, my truck would drive just fine. But you would just have the airbag light on all the time. So I think you have a different issue with getting it out of park.

One other thing is I have recently placed a new battery...probably not too related to airbags, but maybe it did effect the transmission...it slips into second...not too bad, read the vehicle is relearning my driving, idk...75k miles...under my seats are wires galore and airbag module...I vacuumed...under...ill check all connections...thanks your advice

This did not work for my 2006 Dodge ram I have no type of fuse that says airbag and where those fuses are they go to something else they were also both good

No, my seatbelt never was impacted. Not sure if that is an improved seat belt system on your 06 causing that. Mine is an 03 2500.

I don’t know about those front sensors but there is a sensor under the driver seat and some wire plugs there. Might check that they are connecting properly.

With regard to airbag switches in the seat, I was just referencing another place where the airbag system can fail and activate the air bag light. There is a pressure switch under the seats that detects if a person is seated there. Those switches can fail and trigger that light to come on. I don’t know much more than that. Also your 2018 may have side airbags also, so likely more components in the air bag system to check. But the fuse is the easiest thing to look at first, so start there. I wish you well and hope you figure it out.

@@chrisblanton1087 I have a 2003. I believe that there is a canon plug under there with a bundle of wires. Not sure if related to the air bag or not. But your description just feels like a wire is in/out based on vibration in the truck or something. I have had a bad wire before that was not seated right in the larger canon plug. Good luck!

I have a 2004 Ram and I checked those fuses long before I saw this video and they are good,I also checked the wires under the seats and they look okay,my airbag light might go off for a month or longer but then comes back on again,like 2 days ago the light came back on after being off for a while,it drives me crazy with that bing bing sound on and off.I saw something about the clock spring but do not want to deal with that.

Yes but on the 98 they use a 10amp fuse instead of 15amp and the airbag fuse will be located in the fuse panel in the passenger compartment instead of under the hood.
