just a heads up one more fix would be if you broke any latching piece of the top shell or face of the controller it doesnt let the circular dpad press a certain side cause of the shell///it obstructs the circular dpad motion but evrything works fine just replace the shell if nothing in the video worked thts how i got mine to work properly

I know this is an old comment but I would assume it's mapped to LB in that controller software

Ik it's been a few months but if your still having that issue after taking rallasm's suggestion and it's a software issue try going into controller setting and if it says Lb then change it back but if it says the normal up on the d-pad try to change it to something random save it, restart your Xbox, change back to up on the d-pad save it and restart your Xbox again. peace -Cryptex

Well I’m fucked. I made it all the way to the last step and sure enough it’s the sticker. I’m definitely not confident enough to fix that though Edit: I fixed it without having to take the second layer off thank God. All I had to do was lift up on the sticker a little bit and the contact points started working again. Hopefully it lasts
