Go back into UV editing, select all then press clear seam

what about when you do NOTHING to the box but you add a texture from the asset browser and its distorted on the sides , but not on the top and bottom?

@@LucaToumadiMatthews I am trying to stretch it without the texture stretching. I think I know why this is happening. For the texture, I went to base color, changed to image texture, and did it like that. So that's probably why.

I figured it out, so what you wanna do is follow all of the steps to the tutorial then go up to UV and press reset. Remember when you do this select all the faces of the model
