Yes, all the Jets need to do to solve their issues is to simply find their quarterback of the future! 😆The Jets have been looking for their quarterback of the future ever since Joe Namath left the Jets, so good luck with that one! 😆🤣😂

Jets have to his guy at least 2 years to create his football culture. But in reality he will probably have one year to turn it around lol 😂. Then he is fired after bad first season and jets are coaching search begins again.

Jaxson Dart and Jordan Travis would be good competition in training camp. Definitely move down and I’ll perfer the jets to draft either Graham or McMillan.
@AStewSr10 күн бұрын
I don’t see what people seeing in Jackson dart he reminds me of Zack Wilson. We don’t even know what we have in Jordan Travis yet. He may not even be healed from that ankle injury yet. We haven’t heard any reports of him even working out at a facility so his career might be done. You cannot be serious if you think that Mason Graham or Tet McMillan will be available after the 7th pick. Mason Graham is a top five pick.. as far as taking a WR at number seven that’s ridiculous. Tet McMillan only runs a 4.56 forty and isn’t really strong at the point of attack . He will get jammed by NFL CBs and not be able to get separation . He is not Mike Evans. His physical tools are only slightly above average for WR’s. of his height I am at 212 pounds. He’s really light for the position. TCU. WR. Savion Williams is 6’5, 235lbs, and runs a4.45 forty, he catches with his hands and makes circus catches look routine. He is definitely a developmental WR, but if Glen decides to keep Rodgers, then we already know WR Adam is not leaving And who better to learn behind than a future Hall of Famer? I’d rather him than McMillan because he can be coached up and he can be gotten in the 2nd round. Which would allow us to still keep our.#7 pick and use it on the defense because whether you were watching or not last year, our defense couldn’t stop a nosebleed this season, and it’s been getting steadily worse since 2023. In my opinion, if DT Mason Graham , or DE Abdul Carter, are gone the most logical pick should be CB Will Johnson. We already know DJ Reed is walking away, leaving us a major hole at CB. We also know that Sauce Gardner is not the shut down CB we thought he would be. Having a true shut down CB opposite one of the better downfield coverage zone CBs. Would give the NYJ s, one of the best CB duos since Revis and Antonio Cromarte.

@@AStewSr I like how you broken all this this down very good details, I hope Tyler Warren is there at seven he’s someone I would like to add on the roster. Graham and Johnson are two solid addition that could learn from Sauce or Q at their spot. Also Sauce is still good he was just bang up this season let not act like he still wasn’t locking shit up and he didn’t give up big yardage. The dline was ass cheeks this year especially in the run game. Far as the QB goes I don’t care who we get, we need to win games I hope the team find their guy rather it Jordan Travis or the upcoming draft.

Dude is a former JET but not a JETS fan...lol..No dude..Keep Arod and Downing and Hackett and bring in another OC type...The offense was finding their swag at the end and I think Arod wants to win a SB in NY, that unfinished business feeling, they don't need another new system, they need continuity. Let Travis develop under Arod. Problem is the money for him and Adams would make it hard for the JETS to retain players and improve the roster.

Dude, it’s done get over it…NYJ fans never seem to be happy. You’re never satisfied. Every head coach started somewhere. Tomlin started the same damn way. Glenn has the support of a lot of ex NYJs players. You already know Nick Mangold wants to coach, and wayne Corbet said he is more than willing to help. Imagine how many other X players would love to come in and give a hand to make this team and win in franchise again. That’s how you build culture you’re bringing some people from the past that we’re winners and let them taste these young men how to be professional football players, how to play hard, how to hold themselves accountable, how to be disciplined, how to compete, how to treasure the little bit of time that they have as professional football players in the NFL.

Do any of these guys ever watch the NFL draft other than the first round? It's like they have no clue the Jets drafted a QB last year who won his last 17 games and led his top 5 conference team to an undefeated season. And the team was literally left of the college playoffs by the committee stating he was the reason, since meant so much to that team. And they knew what they were talking about. That team has been 3-11 since. He beat Jayden Daniels and his two 1st WR's both times they played. And only fell because he got hurt and could not participate in the combines or any other draft activities and would be able to play in the 2024 season. Is that all they watch perhaps? The combines and the such?
@AStewSr10 күн бұрын
Yeah, but I don’t wanna draft a QB this year either, but my reasoning isn’t because we have Jordan Travis. My reason is because this is not a good year to draft the quarterback. I watched Jordan Travis‘s games, he lacks elite arm talent. I believe he’s a one read QB, and whether it is true or not, doesn’t matter the rumor is he’s injury prone. Basically another Tyrod Taylor. Hopefully he’s healthy enough to get into some preseason games this year and we can truly see what he has and what he can be.
@junehanzawa51659 күн бұрын
@AStewSr He's only been seriously hurt one time in his 6 year career. However, as a dual threat, he did take a ton of hits, especially early on. He was coached to avoid those hits the last 3 years. His injury was on a hip drop tackle. Anyone would have gotten seriously hurt when a grown man drops his full weight on top of your exposed, trapped leg. Even the thick boned Dak Prescott suffered the same injury on a similar play and still got a massive contract afterwards. So no, he's not injury proned. As for the arm strength, the same thing was said about Joe Montana back in the day. That's why he went in the 3rd round. The same with Curt Warner, who went undrafted. Drew Brees was considered to have a weak arm, which is why he lasted until the 2nd round. Peyton Manning had a weak arm, but he had the pedigree of a famous QB father, so he went first. In fact, before the draft, many NFL GM's had Ryan Leaf going 1st only because of Peyton's lack of arm strength. All of those are all time greats with SB and NFL MVP trophies. And that's just from the top of my head. There are many other examples. However, what most of them lacked is Travis' scrambling and running skills. Everybody is looking for a dual threat QB now, and he's the epitome of one. Remember, he was recruited by Louisville to replace Lamar Jackson in that same offense. But the coaches were fired before he had a chance to start there. And 4 QB's went ahead of Lamar because GM's felt he couldn't be a passer in the NFL.
@AStewSr9 күн бұрын
@ Almost Everything you said is completely true and factual, the knock on Lamar wasn’t his arm strength. It was his accuracy.. as far as Montana it was his arm strength, but no one questioned his football acuity, same as Peyton Manning. Montana was extremely accurate and processed defenses like no other quarterback. I don’t recall Peyton‘s arm strength being challenged, now his mobility that was questioned. No one questioned Drew Brees‘s accuracy or his arm strength., they questioned his physical ability to take hits. My issue with Travis Jordan is his accuracy, his ability to process defenses, his arm strength and his health coming back from a devastating injury, which for any pocket QB wouldn’t necessarily be a problem, but especially for a scrambling QB that lives in breathes on his legs, this is the kind of injury that can change his entire career and force him to play in the pocket where he’s not used to. Look at the end of the day we drafted them and I want him to be good , I don’t expect it, though after two years of being laid off and not playing. He isn’t the fastest quarterback and surely not the biggest if he gets on the field for us I’m gonna support him, but I’d much rather take a chance with Justin Fields or Trey Lance.
@junehanzawa51659 күн бұрын
@AStewSr Joe Montana had a career 52% completion rate in college, with his best year being 54.2%. Lamar Jackson had a career 57% completion in college with his best year being 59.1%. Drew Brees had a 61.1% completion rate in college with his best year being 63.4% Jordan Travis had a career 62% completion rate in college, with his best year being 64.1%. In fact, the two and a half years he was a starter, he was 62.9%, 64% and 64.1% That's higher than even Tom Brady in college, who was 61.9%. And Peyton Manning was only 62.5%. And keep in mind that Travis never had a separation receiver, like Jayden Daniels had. His passes needed to be pinpoint perfect almost every time to be completed. He didn't have any receiver who could get wide open on their own. That's part of the assessment process only the very, very best GM's take a look at. So I fully understand why you're not seeing it. Most GM's don't. That's why HoF QB's drop into the mid to late rounds or go undrafted. His injury is fully healed. Especially after a full year. And it'll be a year and a half by training camp. The only reason he was not activated mid-season is because the Jets won vs Houston, so they gave to Rodgers' wishes of not having him of the sidelines dressed and ready to go. Just imagine the calls from Jets fans as the season got worse and worse. Rodgers could not take that. But that was for the best. I loved that he had over a year to heal. He's 100% again. It's an injury from which several star athletes in different sports have recovered from and have been 100% afterwards when given the proper time to heal. He'll be the same scrambler/runner he was before. I have never seen a QB throw better on the run than him. EVER. And I've seen a lot of football. A lot. If they pair him with the right OC, you'll see what I mean.
@AStewSr9 күн бұрын
@junehanzawa5165 Would you he opposed to us signing a Trey Lance or Justin Fields and letting them compete for the starting job? Again I'm gonna support him him because he is a NYJ, but he has to prove he can be the starter we need. Im just afraid for him at his size that his body can't take that type of pounding. We saw what it dif to RGIII We also need to draft a starting RT and a good Swing OT/OG. What i don't want to see is this kid being carried off the field due to a sack because he wasn't protected like Sanchez, Geno, Darnold, Zach, Flacco and White.

Jordan Travis hasn’t played football in almost 2 years. He hasn’t touched the field in over 18 months.. the public doesn’t know the extent of his ankle injury. He may never run as fast as he did before, and he never had the arm talent that could get him out of serious situations. He will find himself in at the NFL level. I’m all for giving him a chance to show what he can do but being off out of football for two years is a long time especially for a QB.. especially when that QB has never played one snap in the NFL.

I hope you’re wrong. That would be terrible for our cap.. and since we still have to pay him, why not just keep Rodgers on the team. Tara Taylor injury. History is well documented. He has never finished a full season. He won’t be able to finish one now and you’re gonna stick Travis Jordan, another injured quarterback, coming off severe injury out into this madness to be chased all around and possibly hurt again.. I say let’s use our draft picks to fix our defense. Draft DT Graham if available at #7 , find a WR,TE, RT, SS, and CB in this draft to completely fix the old line, to stop the run, to improve our secondary, and to give whoever is QB a reliable safety net TE to keep him out of trouble. This way, even if Travis Jordan does get in, he won’t get re-injured because he’ll have an offensive line that’s capable of staying healthy to protect him

Even I agree with Aaron Glenn, he will he will fix everything for the jet sticks. They did I know he did great things in the Detroit Lions, but let’s see what will happen to Aaron Rodgers for me. Like who? Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are not available! So the Jets should bring back Zach Wilson? They should bring in Kirk Cousins? Derek Carr? The loser of the Russell Wilson/Justin Fields quarterback battle? They should waste their first-round pick on a quarterback with second-round or third-round ability and an upside as a career backup?
@AStewSr10 күн бұрын
Honestly, I would take Justin Fields, if Rodgers retires. If not just keep Rodgers, we’re paying him anyway. The problem is Rodgers is 1000 times better than anyone on the current roster, 100,000 times better than anyone coming out in this draft. These draft analyst always try to force the teams that need a QB to take a QB every year and to meet that’s just ridiculous especially when you don’t have a QB coach that has a reputation for developing QBs..
