Old trick for PLAYSTATION 1 1001 version was to turn it upside down. Check some say it may reck it.. Or the playstation 2 fix for laser was to turn the trim pot up a small fraction at a time.. so you dont burn out the laser. Yes they are ps but if it works hey

DUDE OH MY GOD 😂😂😂😂😂 I was just fiddling with NCAA14 cleaning the disc and inserting it for 10-30 mins (the usual ritual to get it to work for me) then this time was taking exceptionally long so I wanted to try and find a fix and this worked first try. My jaw literally hit the floor once I saw it started to load and I just busted out in laughter, thank you so much man 😂🤙. Edit: after this becoming my new ritual for games I've realized if you repeatedly knock the entire time it attempts to read it may not work as well. I have a much higher success rate doing a few knocks then waiting like is shown in the video!

the reason that most of these tricks work is because the factory chipset in the 360 is prone to overheating as most of you have probably heard and the flux that is used to solder the chipset points will bubble the solder out of the top of the chipset if the board gets too hot. generally the way to do this trick is to get the Xbox hot once again, remove the hard drive as to not damage it, then drop the Xbox flat on the hard floor from about 1 to 1 & a half feet in the air, then put it in the freezer as quickly as possible and let sit for about 20 minutes. usually a permanent fix because most of the soldering flux should be bubbled out by then.

Use the last one. Open tray, unplug while open, plug back in and put game in. Worked first try and you won't mess up your Xbox. Think about the damage that can be done by the first two if you don't do it correctly. Scratch the disk with the first one or damage something internally or break the disk tray with the second. The last one won't break anything.
