hello, i want to buy those eraphones but ihate silicons in ear. i like the ergonomy on those erphones. so do you think if i do a "clean cut" (if i menage it) on silicon side. and use a regular sponge covers for the cosmetic look. how effects the sound quality? good or bad?
@zidstarz3 жыл бұрын
So what Ingredients do you need to fix it? My English is bad, so all I know is you're using a flux, then apply it to the hole, and you use your solder to the hole while your left hand holding something. What item do you hold on your left hand? And do your earphone still working? Looking forward to your reply!
@leavoa3 жыл бұрын
Hi, the tool is called a "soldering iron" and can be purchased usually in any hardware store (you'll need a small one for this job) If you do not already own one, you could take your earphones to the local phone-repair shop and show them the video. And yes, the earphone still work great, I use them everyday.

The pods won't contact properly to the case. Like it would turn on in my bag. Are the contact points the problem?
@leavoa3 жыл бұрын
Yup, they autoconnect to bluetooth when they disconnect from the case. I am also going to add a strip of foam to the top of the case to help it compress the buds into the contact better. Overall, I would not recommend these, but if you have them it's definitely salvageable. I enjoy them daily and have minimal issues overall.
@mkymnzns3 жыл бұрын
@@leavoa dang. wish I would've known before I bought. the t2c is awesome and I use it for my everyday travels so I figured it'd be the same for the t6. I'll try adding a solder later this day. I don't have a flux, would that be alright or would I damage anything?

@@mkymnzns Yeah the case gets a 2/5 from me, but otherwise the headphones are enjoyable and don't fall off, so they are worth fixing if you have them already, in my opinion.

@@leavoa I checked case voltage. Right side didn't have any voltage. how can I open charging case and check contention?
@leavoa4 жыл бұрын
@@rezabadizadegan3062 good thinking! You can use a very thin metal strip to try and open the case (you can see the seem around the edge) there are about 5 catches/latches to release. Work carefully and slowly and you should get it done without any marks. Use more than one tool in order to hold it slightly open while working on another section.

@@leavoa I’m trying this now as well with same problem. Case is fully charged (I think) blue dot on/off, but only left ear showed red light. After long pressing right earplug and having it pressed in the case in a certain way finally red dot burned first for a sec so I held it but then after a while when I let it go it still burned red so fingers crossed this works and I can use the headphones again and hopefully charge again the next time without issues.

Is it paper clip?
@leavoa3 жыл бұрын
No, it is "electronics solder", can be purchased in any hardware store, usually. If you have no experience and no tools, I think it will be easier to go to the nearest phone repair shop, show them this video and ask them to do it.

And what if the one who doesn't want to charge is the case, not the hearing aid?
@leavoa4 жыл бұрын
Never had this issue. I would start by trying different cables. If that doesn't fix it you can either return it to the manufacturer, or look inside and see if you can find the issue. It's pretty easy to pop open, but you do run the risk of leaving a mark when you pry open the case.
@martinpadilla31154 жыл бұрын
@@leavoa idc about the marks,I think the trouble is the charging center and I was looking for a way to pop it out but I couldn't do it for fear of breaking the case

@@martinpadilla3115 go slow around the edges with a knife to create the initial gap and plastic ruler or something similar to pry it open. Use the flexibility of the case itself to help the catches opening. It's pretty robust, go slow and you'll be ok.
