I actually couldn’t find ANY resource on how to properly clean (when you first get)…including from the company. I took a wet paper towel, added some dish soap, wipes down lid & inside water tank, then rinsed the lid & ‘rinsed’ the water tank several times with a clean, wet paper towel. I also flushed the system several times by filling the water tank & dispensing it until it was empty. Don’t know if this was the best way but that’s what I did. 🤷🏻‍♀️

How you clean it?

I clean mine by taking the lid off and cleaning that in soap and water. For the tank, I wipe down the inside and then put it maybe a cup of white vinegar, the rest with water, put it on the warmest setting & then run that all through until it’s gone. (You’ll have to just dump that last 1/2” or so that is too low to dispense). Then I wipe the inside down and then run a few water only cycles through the tank/dispenser…basically to get rid of the vinegar smell/taste. (I will say, I NEVER found instructions on how to ‘officially’ clean this but it’s what seemed to make sense & work for me)

Yeeeessss!!!! It’s done that before too. (No idea how to stop that). But again, I love the machine so much that I ‘deal’ with these minor inconveniences & annoyances. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂
