Vuskovic the young CB they are loaning out is baller tho. He scored a goal with a beautifull scissor kick and has a lot of talent as an offensive centerback but might not be ready for the prem. But he does have the talent, also the mindset I heard .Therefore I would not be schocked if he does well for tottenham next year.

I had the pleasure of watching this truly wonderful youngster regularly in Polish Ekstraklasa last year and have to say - he's a real deal. Like REAL REAL deal. I honestly believe he's going to be even better than Gvardiol. He became regular starter and one of the best CBs in the league from the get-go! And he made his debut like 2 weeks before turning 17! And it seems like he's already twice the player in Belgium compared to his time in Poland. I genuinely think he becomes the starter for Tottenham the moment he finally arrives in London. He's got the smarts and poise of a seasoned player.

The Xavi disrespect here is insane. He took a struggling barca under Koeman from 9th to 2nd in half a season, thumped madrid 4-0 along the way with a team comprising of a washed Aubameyang ,Sergino Dest and Martin Brathwaite. Then won the league in his first full season with an impeccable defensive record. Flick is amazing but we shouldn't forget that the core of this team was built by Xavi.

From Spurs' recent recruitment direction I think it's less likely we go for more than one of those targets, and especially in this window where none of those teams are willing to sell their best players. The targets I'll list might seem very obscure but I think are probably what we'd be scouting for. For this window: Tajon Buchanan (Inter, RW/LW) - pacy, tricky and can play in either wing, struggling to get minutes. Seems like you could get a loan for him. Tolu Arokodare (Genk, ST) - Plays a lot like Ivan Toney. Top scorer in Belgium and has been progressing through the ranks, even linked with Monaco this window. Alexsandro Ribeiro (Lille, CB) - Dominant defender in the Gabriel mould. As for options for the summer: Mathias Delorge (Gent, CDM) - One for the future. Like Angelo Stiller his playstyle is more like a controller and likes to progress the ball from deep Pepelu (Valencia, CDM) - Experienced ball winner type like Palhinha that wins a lot of duels. Only if one of Bentacur/Bissouma move. Mohamed Ali Cho (Nice, RW) - Also a pacy winger but relies more on physicality than trickery (like Saka, Bowen, Salah) . Can play striker

I would suggest Hancko instead of Hato. He is way more ready for the English game at this moment. More power, good technical player on the ball. Hato would be another expensive player who will need 1 or 2 years to be ready to start. Hancko is 27. Will give you another good 3/4 years and would cost like somewhere between 20 to 25 million pound.

@bryanmarshe4545 oh yeah your player making the goal line clearance, your goalkeeper keeping bailing you out. In the 2nd half we were literally creating chances after chances but your team kept getting lucky every single time. And you can't make a statement and then just call it fact, what are you a small kid who thinks uppercasing the words will make it legit? And why doesn't the last statement holds? He should've been sent off

Here’s the highlights to show you the holes in your ‘chance after chance’ statement. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2qkgmibgraiZ5I&pp=ygUXdG90dGVuaGFtIDEgbGl2ZXJwb29sIDA%3D You had 2 chances 2nd half from tight angles. Darwin 1-on-1 which he was never scoring from that run in and Trent’s shot. That’s it. Spurs had an equally good chance after 5 mins which Allison saved (reference video) Porro’s chance which was better than Darwin’s and of course to you’ve forgetting the actual goal. Now regarding the Bergvall ‘sending off’ …NO he shouldn’t have sent off because Diaz dived when he wasn’t touched for the 1st yellow FACT!! Justice was done. I hope the video plus me clarifying the events helps you understand what actually happened. 😁

Spurs could win the Europa League with a new manager. Even with the injuries, we have one of the best squads in the competition. Yes a Thomas Frank (who would be my first choice for all the reasons Pat mentioned) would be expensive, but far cheaper than a squad overhaul in January, and with a deep run in the Europa League, the fee pays for itself, especially if we could qualify for the Champions League. It also gives the new manager an extra 4-5 months to get their ideas across to the team. With Frank in particular he could get poached mid-way through the season by another team and if we think he's the right manager to take us forward, why wait until the summer? I also think from a financial standpoint we have to protect the value of our assets for FFP in future. So Micky VDV needs a manager that won't blow up his hamstrings every 3 months, and doesn't force Bissouma to play in such a way it devalues him. Dragusin needs a manager who can enable him to perform at a high level as Ben mentioned because he cost 35mil and Solanke needs to start scoring more to keep his value high, but he gets no service in an Ange system. I do also think there is a genuine chance we get relegated, I think there is a real chance Wolves, Everton and Ipswich get more points than us in the second half of the season. We're trusting that the 8-point gap will be enough, and I'm not sure it is.

Spurs fans really need to stop using the "lack of support from the board" line, it's not just in "recent years" that they started spending. Since Man City were purchased by the CIF in 2008 only three teams have spent more on transfers than Spurs - United, Chelsea and City. They've outspent both Arsenal and Liverpool in that period. They've also had between the 4th and 6th highest wage bills during that time too (swapping places with Arsenal/Liverpool and weirdly United on one occasion) until literally this season where they've dropped to 7th, behind Villa (by about £30,000 a year) - dropping out once in nearly 2 decades and suddenly they're all latching onto it like that's the root cause of the problem. Spurs are financially backed like a top side. Their owners/board have took them from an irrelevant mid table side to one that regularly competes for European football. The only valid criticism is when they say they prioritise that top 4/6 spot over a domestic cup, but this idea that they don't spend or "back the manager" is legitimately ludicrous. I've heard Spurs fans saying "yeah, Ange has had €450m in one and a half seasons but look at who it was spent on!" as if that somehow magically means they haven't spent that money.
@bryanmarshe454514 күн бұрын
You make this statement as an ‘outside fan’ looking in. Spending money on who Daniel Levy thinks is a good player rather than the managers they are going to play for it categorically NOT backing the manager. I’ll give you examples because as an ‘outside fan’ you haven’t taken this into consideration. 1. Losing Mane. Refused to pay wages 2. Losing Winaldum over wages 3. Refusing to play £25m for Grealish 4. Refusing to pay £10m extra to get B. Fernandes 5. Buying Joe Rodon instead of Skrinrar 6. Not investing on a player for 500+ days (2 windows) when Spurs had finish 2nd a needed 1-2 player to because truly elite. 7. Refusing to pay £20m for Jarrod Bowen instead buying Jack Clarke for £10m instead 8. Leaving Moutiniho’s paperwork to the last minute and losing the player 9. When in 3rd place and challenging for the title Harry Redknapp requested Tevez (West Ham) and Cahill (Bolton) he instead got Saha and Nelson. Just a few examples of money being spent on inferior quality players or losing out on elite players who would have moved the needle with the team through tightness. There have been many more. Never make assumptions over people’s clubs without knows all the facts.
@TJW-YT14 күн бұрын
@@bryanmarshe4545 You're never going to get every player that you as fans want - also, there's always this talk that "this itk said we want this player" and very often it's just pure speculation. Most of the itks are fed information from agents, or the club when either of those parties want the public to know something, there's no guarantee Spurs were in for any of those players that you think you were. What we do know, for sure, is that your owners held onto both Kane and Son much longer than another club of your size and success would've done in similar circumstances, as I said in my original comment they've also spent the 4th most of any side in the last 17 years (the date that City were purchased by the CIF) and put the wages down to keep you in the top 4-6 spenders in 16 of the last 17 years. They've backed Ange with about €450m in one and a half seasons, on players that absolutely suit his system/style of play (I vividly remember your fans talking about "winning the window" last season and really doubling down on that when you started the season so well). You talk about how an "outside fan" wouldn't see these things, but on the flip side it's very often the case that outsiders looking in see things without bias, unlike the fans of the actual club. Much like how United fans have compared players like Rashford to Mbappe, Bruno to De Bruyne, Shaw to Robertson and most recently Amad to Saka - things that all of us on the outside know are nonsense, but that they can't see because they're blinded by bias. Your fans seem to think you're hard done by, or that your owners don't back the team/manager, I'm assuming because you need something to blame for your lack of success. But the reality is that these owners took you from mid table obscurity, to a seat with the "big 6", with several seasons of Champions League football, built a new stadium that you didn't need to go 10+ years of seeing your best players poached by other clubs in order to achieve (a la Arsenal) and continue to back managers in the market. I am by no means saying they're perfect or haven't made mistakes, even the "best" owners in footballs have misses and mistakes, but your fans cling onto this idea that they're the problem and the reason you're not winning anything when in reality they're the only reason you're talked about alongside the truly "big" clubs like United, Liverpool and Arsenal, or the money clubs of Chelsea and City.
@bryanmarshe454513 күн бұрын
@TJW-YT Again as an ‘outside fan’ you have made assumptions about ITK’s. Go and research every point I made. Harry Redknapp has spoken multiple times about asking for Tevez and Cahill and getting Saha and Nelson. Poch has spoken about Mane and Wynaldim, who both played under him at Southampton, and Jack Grealish and Bruno has spoken about how close they were to joining our club for it to fall through because Levy wouldn’t pay the fee. The 500+ days with zero signing when we finished 2nd isn’t a discussion/ITK… it’s a fact. It’s actually a record for non-purchases. That was the time to strike when Pep had only just arrived, Man U in the dulltrums, Arsenal fans screaming Wenger Out. You talk about how Levy has taken poor old Spurs from mid table obscurity. We were the record FA Cup winners (8) when he took over, part of the big 5 (Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton) and won more trophies in the 90’s than the 24 years of his tenure, it was under them we lost Campbell, Berbatov, Bale, Modric etc because of lack of ambition. People want to give an owner who has bought zero success, pays himself the highest wage in the league, charges his fans the highest ticket prices in Europe, and in reality has taken out a bank loan for a stadium, some sort of amazing kudos. I sure you’ve forgotten this guy, after Spurs winning their only trophy in 2008, sold Robbie Keane and Berbatov (one of the dealiest duo’s in the league), under the managers nose, to rivals and replaced them with bloody Frazer Campbell. Handicapping the whole club. Name another chairman who has done that? I’ll wait! He bought in Conte and Mourinho ‘win now’ managers and gave them no money, zero backing. They’ve won everywhere bar Spurs, what the common denominator? Look at how those elite managers talk about him and the club now. He sacked Jose 6 days before a cup final for god sake… explain the logic in that decision!! He sacked Poch after finishing 4th and getting the team to a CL final, because of 4 months of bad results. What chairman does that? I’ll wait!! Overall he’s bought in 14 managers in 24 years. 3 who you could remotely call a success Jol, Redknapp and Poch and you think we need to praise him and say thank you. Poch was at Spurs for 5 years so you do the math on the average tenture of our managers. Who should be held accountable? If Levy was an employee he’d sack himself for the shocking managerial decisions he’s made. Like I said, I live and breathe Spurs so understand the detail of what has happened at this club and what Levy has done. Conte and Mourinho’s rants have caused so much damage that Nuno was our 6th choice manager and Ange our 5th. No serious manager worth his salt wants to work with this man now. Arne Slot gave us a wide birth even though he was at Feyenood! You’ve spoken about Spurs fans saying we ‘won the window’ who said that Jamie O’Hara? … lol… please don’t reference him. Is that the window when we sold the greatest goalscorer in the clubs history? Harry Kane? Or are you referencing this summer window when we bought 1 guaranteed starter, (Solanke) 3 eighteen years olds and 1 nineteen year old costing £140m? You see if you come to a real fan I’ll give you context. I’ve not even scratched the surface with this message TBH. As an outside fan you see the shiny stadium (£1bn of debt) money spend on players which Levy wanted (you really believe Ange wanted 18/19 year olds when he won’t be here to see them peak?) and make incorrect assumptions about want this poisonous chairman has done. He turned us from a proud club into a banter club… for fans and Paddy Power to poke fun at. There have been multiple times under Harry Redknapp, with Modric and Bale, and Poch with Kane, Dele, Eriksen, Dembele and co. to invest correctly. It’s no coincidence Liverpool have spend less but are miles ahead. We smashed them at Wembley 4-1 in 2018 and were miles ahead of them but got Klopp and got serious about signing elite players and look at them now. The owner signs off the manager and the mid level players we’ve purchased. Only under his tenture has the ‘Spursy’ moniker come to pass. He’s the cancer destroying this club.

@@bryanmarshe4545I’m sorry but saying the problem is because the club buys player Daniel Levy likes instead of those the manager likes is a ludicrous statement. Do you honestly believe Levy picks the transfers? Spurs have a sporting director, recruitment team and manager who will have more input on player signings than Levy ever will. It may be a valid argument so say Spurs have spent badly, that’s the recruitment teams fault not the owners.
@bryanmarshe454512 күн бұрын
Levy has final sign-off on all the players, the transfer budget and the wages. When Poch wanted Mane but Spurs bought Sissoko because of the structure of the deal, and the cheaper wages, whose fault is that? When Bergwijn come in and Jose said he wasn’t his choice, but needed players in who’s fault is that? When Conte tells you DJed Spence, is a club signing, and therefore refuses to play him, who’s fault is that? Who employed this inept recruitment team, who employed the inept medical team? By making constraints on the transfer fees the wages and the age range. Levy is infact picking the players for his managers. 24 years 14 managers 1 trophy. It’s not rocket science. Our last 3 managers (Nuno, Jose, Conte) are all in the top 3 of their respective league. The facts and data are staring fans in the face, however for many in life it’s ’Eyes Wide shut’
