Yes. This is how I figured it out. I got a PS plus code and I redeemed it in the morning and it worked. I tried to then maybe 15 minutes later I tried to redeem a money code. It didn't work. So to make a long story short I just waited. Tried again. Didn't work. But then i tried to use a different code that came with my video games. Agents of mayhem to exact. I typed in that code and it worked so then instead of clicking continue I clicked redeemed another code and I typed in the money code. So all you need to do to fix it is redeem like a dlc physical copy code like a day one dlc or whatever and type in ur money code or whatever ur tryna do Make sure to like so people can see this

Read some comments below and found more help there than in the video itself. Just repeating what others have said. As of 12-16-19 This is method that works. 1: Go to the playstation store and go to payment methods and plug in your account password. (Seems this is a way for Sony to verify that its you redeeming the code) 2:Next go to redeem codes and plug in your code and it should work without a hitch. NOTE: You can only plug in a specific code so many times before it locks the code for 24 hours, so avoid putting it in too many times. Not gonna say that this will work 100% of the time, but when i was going thru customer support on Amazon ( the store i bought my $25 gift card from) and the Playstation store, they offered little to no help whatsoever and this is what worked for me, after seaching for 2 days thru forums to find help with this...

@@RamInMinecraft Maybe i should've been more specific. This method only works if you have issues making the code valid. If you are getting an error message, thats a completely different issue. I've seen that error message and thats more on Sony's end. When i was with Playstation support, the support person said they could give me a new code, but ONLY if i had gotten an error message when i would redeem my code. I didnt get any sort of error message and instead would get this "code is invalid or entered incorrectly". So they said they couldn't help me and it was something on my end. Since you actually have a legitimate error code. You may have luck with support on fixing the code or getting a new one.

Do NOT keep trying to re-enter codes while your account is on lockdown it will increase the time of your account being locked. I had to wait 12-14 hours before my account was finally unlocked. So I would say try entering your code the next day and you should be fine. Good Luck and ask me anything else you would like to know about the issue
