would love a part 2! Hopefully my little story catches your eye! I'm 27 and currently playing rec softball, but played baseball from 4-22 years old. 90% of that time I was behind the dish as a catcher. I've had a few injuries, right rotator cuff tear, separated right AC joint (from terrible bench press form), and herniated L5. I'm getting back into lifting again after those injuries and really want to focus on the fundamentals of proper mechanics to avoid more problems. growing up and even now, I always had a high left shoulder, strength imbalances in my legs from the ground up (ankles, calves, hamstrings, quads, glutes), rotation issues, the list goes on. Now that I'm researching into all these issues I've been struggling with where to start, instead of having maybe 1,2, or 3 areas of focus, I think the problem is my whole body starting from the ground up. Baseball is a very one sided movement sport, I throw with my right, I swing right handed. Even more so being a catcher, constantly in multiple squat positions, the right foot is slightly behind the left when runners are on base (helps set you up for faster pop times). Catchers have heavier gloves, add in the squat position and framing pitches for hours a day catching bullpens while my right arm is behind the body for protection. I feel like that alone is responsible for my high left side and low right side. Watching the last part of the video has really got me interested in the bigger picture, because the bigger picture is what I need to understand so I can actually get big and not hurt myself lol I appreciate your video and all the work you put into this, It really helps those of us who are struggling to fix the one body we get!

Looking forward to the 2nd part video. Please make it! Just did some stretches from this video on the shoulder and it's more flexible and loose than before. Thank you bro.

I am a side sleeper. I think this contributes to lengthening in the back and shortening in the front of the shoulder, and results in a persistent weirdness that impinges certain shoulder movements and a ratcheting effective/clicking in clavicles. Have you thought about a short video to provide shoulder/hip/back tips for different sleeping orientations?

I'm in the same situation, and even though I try to force myself to sleep on my back, I always end up back on my side. Blake, videos to adress these issues would be greatly appreciated

The arm pull behind and neck stretch helped me immediately. Ive been doing side stretches for years and I've never felt a release like this. I've been feeling alot of tension in my serratus anterior and I believe my erector spine too. Left lat, trap, glute, and leg still need to get evened out tho 👌

I would love the part 2 to this. Really interested in the biomechanics and I've realized today that this is an issue for me. I always have had a tight right shoulder/neck and flat left foot, and now causing knee issues. Maybe this is exactly what's going on. Interesting how something wrong on the left side can actually be the cause of problems on the right side.

Very informative, thank you. I do a lot of pull ups and maybe not enough stretching and also leveling my body out with some sort of trap exercises?

Hi Blake, great video. My left shoulder is low and left hip is high. I'm currently doing Egoscue which is helping my tight hip flexors. Any thoughts?

My shoulders are uneven , due to my right shoulder being Injured from dislocation , now its lower than the left done all the physio I can for the last few years , now left side is getting weaker doing physio on that side to , not sure what to do next ???

With me my upper trap is weak because i massaged it because it made my shoulder impingment feel better but it made it worse. Upper traps are important. If a muscle feels tight like your upper traps or rhomboids it means u need to strengthen

*put the ball into a pillow case. That way, when the ball rolls out, you dont have to get up and chase it. You can use the ball in the pillow case against a wall, without the ball falling to the floor.

I’m going to look through past videos to see if you’ve discussed rotator cuff tears. I havent been able to resistance train for four months now and its very depressing not knowing if i will ever be able again.

Something has happened to my R shoulder/ humerus where on a side view, you can barely even see it. It’s like whatever’s meant to hold it up no longer is. You can only just see the tip of it. Yet standing front on, it’s level with the L one. Blake do you have any idea what’s going on here?

Maybe the reason for the depressed shoulder is scoliosis. Would these exercises be useful in that case? I appreciate your efforts to help others 👏
