I agree ! Indeed my touch screen IS unresponsive at all , I can't even switch it off, even the finger print detection doesn't work anymore. I was expecting a video about totally unresponsive touch screen which is my case. My phone was on and it started so that I couldn't write messages anymore, and then it totally froze . When the screen went off then I couldn't get back into my phone as the draw design or the finger print had also become unresponsive ... :/ and I can't even switch it off or reboot...

The screen seems uresponsive in some apps. In retroarch for example, I have to press very hard for anything to register, feels like i'm going to break the screen. When I don't use that app, it is unresponsive on the edges of the screen. I hear so much good about redmis but they have so far not impressed me at all. Also after have been using it a little more, the camera is garbage. If you try to zoom just a little bit, it's super grainy...

If xiaomi (any note) which is updated to miui 12.on first time it will show lags and other software issues so it is better to hard reset the phone and update the phone. After xiaomi fixes these bugs and other problems.

Bro i have a weird problem that sometimes my phone is automatically touching somewhere while it is on then no respond to the screen while i touching and also at some times not all time no respond to the screen while touching.... But it will be okay for a few minutes when i power off the device and unlock it will be okay for some minutes and after ward it will continue the same.

Can anyone please answer me? So I have my LCD replaced with non-original spare part. After a few weeks it has ghost touches in some times and totally unresponsive in another times. Same. My redmi 9t fell underwater then it started glitching. I did not have the budget for a new phone, not even an original lcd recplacement. So i brought my phone in a local repair shop, they replaced my lcd with a cheaper and shittier one. It always ghost touches when charging, some parts of my screen was completely unresponsive.

Sometimes theres no touch or just blacklight screen. I press on off button few times And it works again. I believe Its because of badly placed flex cable
