I was still getting the error even after applying all five of your steps. I'm on an ASUS gaming laptop ROG Strix 17 intel Core i9. What finally worked was a missing step. In Windows Features you need to also uncheck "Windows Hypervisor Platform" Just scroll down near the bottom and uncheck it. This video did help tremendously and put me on the right track to a solution. So Thank You!!!

Thanks for your informational video😀. I wasted the whole day doing the workaround except disabling the core isolation memory integrity settings. This removed the error but still the KVM value was still in False mode .. With core isolation memory integrity in disabled state, issue was fixed and KVM value was also in True mode which is integral for nested virtualization.

At this point "System Information" will be opened and you can check the status of "Virtualizaion-based security". If it is enabled or running just open a cmd as admin and disable it with this command: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off. To revert instead of "off" put "auto"

to anyone who had this working for them and then after a while it just stopped working, in windows 10 and 11 sometimes even though core isolation is disabled, after a windows update, sometimes you need to enable core isolation, restart, disable and then restart again, and then it works. I dont know why this is, probably microsoft doing nonsense as usual, but yeah this happened to me and I just tried it, works like normal again.

I have HP ZBook Firefly 14-inch G11 A (A19FYUA#ABA) with AMD Ryzen™ 9 8945HS CPU which do support the AMD-V but still i received the error "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is Not Supported on this Platform" I tried the below for disabling the VBS & Device Guard: - bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off - dism /online /disable-feature /featurename:microsoft-hyper-v-all - Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V-Hypervisor - Disable the memory integrity - Disable it using registry. - Disable Virtualization Based BIOS Protection in BIOS settings - Disable VBS via Local Group Policy - Disable Windows Hypervisor Platform - Disable Virtual Machine Platform - Disable Microsoft Defender Application Guard - Disable Hyper-V windows feature - SVM check box in BIOS settings is greyed "enabled" and cannot even be disabled. After all, above, still A hypervisor has been detected message is there in addition to "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is Not Supported on this Platform" in which the VMware ESXi or Proxmox cannot be run inside the VMware workstation 17.x. Still, I don`t try the way of "Device Guard and Credential Guard hardware readiness tool" which stated for Win 10, as am having Windows 11 and I don't know will it works or not? Any ideas please to solve the issue. Thanks....
