i dont have that button on bottom..i have motoG5 ive tried everything...under virtual keyboard i have Gboard & google voice typing....help!

Fuck mine still won't work. It doesn't have that logo at the bottom to click like your does. But mine is in English keyboard I checked in settings

Click on the logo that looks like a world next to the space button and hold it down till other options Pop up your welcome 🤗

Hi Sheridan I hope by now that you have figured out you're talking to text I have a picture of a keyboard as well but I didn't have the English keyboard I have a Motorola stylus and when I tap the keyboard it came up with. There are only two choices and I chose the other one and here I am speaking the text the only issue is got it wants to stop in the middle of speaking and then just have to pause I don't want to deposit but it will stop on its own I don't know if I get to keep talking like a crazy person but hopefully your thing is working now I'm probably going to have to do some more detective work so I don't have to deal with this so I'm talking really fast maybe you know the setting in your settings on your where it gives you the oh this is what it sounds like an English if you're speaking really fast so I hope it's working for you.

Google Voice typing is the one that I chose and you have to do that every time unless I can figure out in settings how to make it not have to choose it every time because again if I hit the microphone and it'll say you don't have permission I'm like well watch me I'm just going to tap the keyboard and use Google typing. Just wanted to add that extra note.
