How to Fix Wavy Zigzag Text and Double Line Text in Printout | Canon Inkjet Printer

In this video I explained about inkjet printers if any kind of inkjet printer print out Fade, Misprint, Text Over Text and Shaking Text. All these issues are due to an encoder strip that you might be seen inside the inkjet printer. Encoder strip is a transparent piece of plastic inside the printer carried by sensor in the ink carriage.
Encoder strip must be neat and clean for better output of prints.

Got the exact same thing going on with an epson wf 7610, alignment is good so I thought maybe print head damaged. Not sure where this strip is in an epson but I'll look and give it a try, fingers crossed!

It did not work for me on a Canon Pixma iP8720 that prints mostly double (depending on the font). After running a tissue over the plastic strap did not correct anything. Was there any dirt on the strap? Difficult to tell as the strap is much more difficult to view let alone trying to clean it.
