How to fix WIFI keep turning off on TCL Android TV ( Servicing Wifi Module )

A while back ago I encountered a strange issue with Wifi card/module on TCL Android TV. Upon turning The Wi-Fi On , it Powered off immediately by itself and in the android status the mac address displayed as invalid 02:00:00:00:00:00 with Bluetooth device showing Unavailable . Restarting and Factory Resetting Tv worked for a while but then it completely went off. and not allowing me to connect to internet If you can use an ethernet connection (RJ45 network cable wired to router LAN port), then TV will again operate properly since it bypasses need for wi-fi chip. (select Wired Connection) but then I wanted my Wifi back! So, I decided to disassemble TCL s6500 android TV and serviced the Network WIFI module myself. remember this can void your warranty so please make sure you call service centre if under warranty. by following this easy steps you can get back your wifi connection on your TCL TV !.

@@SidTheGeek it actually only helped for a day. The next day, it was back to no Wi-Fi and it wouldn’t turn on. This TV is mounted outside on my covered and screened in porch. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. It doesn’t get wet or anything. It’s not in the sun. The air is humid sometimes though. I ordered a new Wi-Fi module. Waiting on it to be delivered so I can see if that fixes it for a while haha

Hello, I have the TCL 50CF630 qoled model and I would like to know if you can disconnect the open wifi mode that broadcasts the tv as well as the bluetoth as you explain, I would do it to connect the cable TV and so that the tv does not emit wifi or bluetoth and that the remote control would work by infrared as in the past and if not buy a universal infrared one. My question is if you could do thank you very much.
