Why is this happening?
1. Improper shutdown
2. Other Task were not closed properly
3. Peripherals were removed without safety or may be accidentally unplugged
4. Ram issue
5. Windows drivers not installed properly
6. End Task File explorer
7. and so many more
Disclaimer
This is my experience and how I fix the issue "stuck on restarting in windows 10". Please do some research especially if you have other brand names on the laptop. My laptop is working fine and no more issue. I can reboot, shutdown and use the laptop without any issue.

THIS WORKS! THANK YOU!!! For me while pressing Windows X and power button together the screen blacked out and then reappeared. ( Basically my laptop went to sleep mode) HOLD THE BUTTON TILL YOUR LAPTOP IS SHUT DOWN AND NOT JUST IN SLEEP MODE. This was honestly a very useful video and quite a trouble saver.

The trick is, if you get it fixed, what happens after you shut it down and reboot the next day? What caused it not to start, may still have the same problem like you stated...possibly shut down wrongly, bad drivers and etc. or does one have to go through this routine each time it fails to start?

Hi Anthony, as long as you do proper shutdown, close apps, maybe play on the settings like power options or check your task manager. Nothing is certain to be honest, since we mostly are using the laptop everyday and it's part of us. To avoid yes I believe but not to encounter I don't think there is 100% in this world. I rather say maybe do some back up on files , save on external, cloud, etc so whenever you have any issue. and may need the worst solution reformat, you still have the files after. 🙂

Hello Everyone, for 1st option - hold for 5 to 10 seconds. For other users, if all options does not work. Try to drain battery until empty. Wait for 10 to 20mins then turn on as usual. If battery is removable, go ahead remove , wait for 10 to 20 mins and plug in power cable then turn on as usual. same issue? Enter windows recovery Try to enter safe mode > end process apps running that are unusual or suspicious at task manager. next, check for updates on your drivers by going to device manager. 3rd, go to power options, try to set never on all options. Go to windows update, disable windows update first. Then restart For Bios update, i recommend you to do research, ask friends, call technical team for this process. choosing incorrect settings or update version is a no no no. There are a lot of reasons or cause why this happen. Always back up your data while you still can.
