How To Fix Xbox Game Bar Capture Greyed Out in Windows 11

Here in this quick video tutorial, I will show you guys how to fix Xbox game bar capture greyed out or capturing not working on your Windows 11 PC or Laptop.
Commands:

Location: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR
Value Name: AppCaptureEnabled
Value Data: 1

If none of this works it may be due to a Group Policy setting for Windows Game Recording and Broadcasting. Instead of typing regedit as shown at @0:32, type gpedit to open the Group Policy Editor. Under Computer Configuration, click on Administritive Templates, then Windows Components and then Windows Game Recording and Broadcasting. Look to the window at the right and click on Enables or disables Windows Game Recording and Broadcasting. In my case this was set to Not Configured. I'm not sure why but you should make sure to set it to Enabled. Then restart your PC and see if that has enabled the greyed out buttons for Screenshot and Start Recording. This worked for me.

I'm afraid I don't have any of the capture options in settings and the Registry already has that key set with a value of 1. Is there another setting by any chance? Thanks for your help.
