I was half expecting you to smoke the thing with a 3 1/2” turkey load, but that didn’t seem your style. You missed the opportunity for a hilarious video! Honestly though, thanks for the info. This one’s for the rhythm.

nah, i like em and all of mine have never had an issue, just wanted to show folks how they can get em lined out if need be. course they can always send em back and get em replaced but it only take a few minutes to fix em.... again, supposedly. none of mine have burrs

@@CloverTac I could not get my clay cannon to even fire. After cocking it, the trigger would not release even with the tension spring backed all the way out. Taking this thing apart involves more than just removing the 14 screws. You must pry that glued-in foam thing in the front before removing the screws. This is because the spring is still under tension with that foam thing in. If you don't remove the foam thing first when you remove the screws and pry it apart everything will go flying. My trigger didn't have any burrs, it just didn't clear the notch in the throwing arm. I filed off some of the front of the trigger and also some of the plastic behind the trigger so it would move rearward more. In retrospect I could have filed behind the trigger and the front of the trigger without taking it apart or used my dremel tool. Don't take yours apart without trying to file or grind it first.

@@helenstafford6925 hmm.... so i own multiple Clay Canons and have never had an issue with any of them. so as stated, i was just going off what they told me at SHOT Show. you might consider posting this as a stand alone comment instead of a reply so others can read what you did. and I had no issues removing the foam BUT i did have the tension completely released... or as much as it would anyway. nothing went flying.

@@CloverTac I just had the foam piece half pried off. With it in there is still tension on the spring. Anyway, there were not any burrs on the trigger, it just didn't clear the catch on the arm when pulled. Hopefully people with the problem will read the replies and see mine.
