Hi Guys. I was getting this on Chrome and Firefox and tried many things; typing addresses in the command prompt, adjusting browser settings, deleting/ re-downloading web browsers, disabling security features in my security program, following many KZbin many videos and nothing worked. The craziest part is it worked all my other devices except my computer. What did work for me: a five second pinhole reset of my modem!

It's not just the internet trust me it's two things one is because of the internet and the other if you have a virus in my situation i have a virus and my internet works perfectly fine even a engineer came over and internet was fine

Yeahh.. for all the people that this worked for, your problem was a computer problem, not a Modem problem... all these videos are pointless, since they never show anything with the Router/Modem... for me I know this is the problem, because nothing can connect to my Wi-Fi not just my computer, highly doubt that google chrome is the reason my xbox/switch/phones/Pcs... Can't connect... and there is zero help on the internet... it's almost as if no one has this problem....

Ive just managed to fix this problem myself by turning on Windows 7 Important updates. I never used to use their updates but they must have had a fix in there for it. I'm only saying as theres lots of negative thumbs here and maybe this solution will work for those people..

It worked for me. this is what i did to solve it... 1. * Turn off "Set time automatically" * Turn off "Set time zone automatically" * Turn off "Adjust for daylight savings time automatically" 2. Change date and time to random number and close it. 3. Reopen Date and time settings and change date & time back to the actual date and time without using the things you turned off in step 1. 4. Profit?

I turn off the internet several times and turn it back on. If this does not work turn off the power and wait a minute or 2 and turn it back on or you can just unplug the power cord from the modem and that sometimes works. Or you may click out of youtube and click into something else that is safe. I have found that I have more problems on youtube with this privacy error and it makes me wonder who is tracking information.
