How to fix your Genesis radio without sound

If anyone is having issues with this in 2022 , it’s really simple actually . Turn ur car off . Take ur foot off the break , press the on button once . And let it reload itself up . It’ll work . I was confused too with this video but I just took a few minutes and figured it out .

My 2012 Genesis 5.0 V8 Lexicon system acted like this just today - no radio sound. I found your video, followed the instructions, and then there was sound. Activate battery/accessory mode and the sound came back. A tremendous relief. Thanks for sharing.

So this didn’t work for me and my car was having the same issues. I fixed the problem a different way and here’s what I did... pop the trunk and take out the inner liner on the passenger side. Behind it is the AMP, simply imply the wiring on the back and replug. Start the car and it should work. Hope this helps!!!

I did this before and it worked, it was a while ago and had forgot. Turn on/off your engine. Wait a few to 5 mins or so... distract yourself and chill. Tap the on button without foot on brake. Def works. 2012 Hyandai Genesis ✊🏼
