1:50 the “Mono Audio” switch basically just disables stereo. Virtually all audio playback has one signal for the left speaker and another for the right, which allows your left and right ears to hear a slightly different version of the audio. So basically, if you’re watching a video for example and a character is on the left side of the screen, the audio will play louder on the left speaker and quieter on the right, giving the impression that the sound is coming from the left of you. Stereo audio is basically the sound version of 3D glasses, in fact your phone/TV/computer screen is a great analogy to this; it’s basically a “mono vision” setup. Only one input for both of your eyes. If you have 3D glasses and a 3D capable display, this would be “stereo vision”, where each eye receives a slightly different image, giving the illusion of 3D. This applies to music as well of course, “mono audio” will effectively merge the left and right channels into one single audio signal that both left and right speakers play equally. This will remove any sense of space in a song, but it is useful for playing music on a single-speaker (mono) setup (such as a Bluetooth speaker) so that the song is still played back as faithfully as possible. Generally speaking, unless you’re playing back audio on a mono system, it’s best to just keep it turned off. Try listening to music with headphones and switching “mono audio” on and off as you listen to it, and you’ll hear a noticeable difference. Mono sounds flat and 2D, stereo sounds like it has depth, like it’s 3D

This is close to a "have you tried reseting the phone" "fixit" video. lol Usually, there is gunk in the speaker grill and you have to remove it to clean it. - symptom is speaker buzzes when in crease the volume or is muted (completely blocked)

So mine just started today and i took my screen protector off and cleaned it all and put on a new one. What fixed it immediately was alcohol on cotton swap in the ear piece, then used a duster and dried it and not only did it stop but it got louder!

I have the weirdest speaker problem with my iPhone 11 Pro, on many videos with talking similar to this video the sound is distorted even at lower volumes. But on this video with you talking there’s zero distortion even at full volume! At first I thought my speakers were somehow blown out but it can’t be as this video with your voice sounds crisp and clean, yet other videos and sometimes music/songs distort the speakers even at low volumes! Very odd and I’m not sure what to do

I just what to add a quick and simple comment. I tried all the cleaning and sorting out the system setting. But nothing worked. Then I thought when I call someone on speaker phone it goes to my bottom speakers. So I called my son and voila it’s fixed. So all you need to do if this repeats again is call someone on iPhone what’s app anything. And use the speakers. And hopefully like mine the problem was solved. Hope it helps

I had the same Issue. You have turn the phone off or let the battery run out, and then you turn it on and press the power button and home button, it will go to recovery mode. Then you have to use iTunes and restore your phone using downloading a Ipsw of iOS 13. Then the computer will restore your phone reinstalling the software and that should fix it. You should search for a video explaining how to do it just to get it right. Good luck!
