This is from my own experience. The only way to fix your reputation is to completely change the person that you are and everyone that used to be in your life especially from your past. Your never gonna get people that knew you from the past, like for instance, your old school friends and your relatives to see that your a changed person or even a brand new person. Here is how to fix and change your reputation: Change your full name, move to another state, buy new clothes, find a different job, find a new companion, don’t tell anyone about your life, don’t talk about the people that were in your life. Buy a shredder and destroy old photos from the past. Don’t put your pictures or any information about yourself on Facebook. If you meet new people let them do the talking, you just do the listening. Be humble and quiet. That’s pretty much about it.

I had an extremely poor reputation, the first quarter of my life. But it is my fault, as it was self imposed. I was painfully socially inept. And was a huge attention seeker. I’d constantly sing out loud in the middle of class, while my teacher was trying to lecture. I would always be involved in other peoples drama. And always talk out loud broadcasting my problems….. it ended up making me completely unapproachable in school. Ended up becoming more awkward in the process. I’m still trying to get a grip on the past. At least this video makes me feel better

It's hard to not react negatively when people harass you due to slander and lies. I messed up, I guess. I responded with and angry look and walking away. Which in turn only sparked the gossip. So now I'm apparently mentally disabled and a stalker. It seems that's what they're saying. Actually I'm a university alumni who is trying to avoid them and to make new friends but they all know eachother and always interfere whenever I've made a new friend. Overnight, people turn against me, by the dozen. Don't people understand empirical evidence? Nothing has happened. I'm trying to live my life. I've moved away but I'm still grieving the loss of friendship as it is so rare. I lost people I thought I had some connection with.

You are a very calming and supportive person. Thank You for the information. If I may share an experience, I would be grateful: I have a bad reputation. I had a period of being well "groomed" and had an image of someone "well paid". After awhile, I took much lower paying jobs in a bigger city where I studied. Soon, I ended up not working because of health reasons and high anxiety, and finally resting at my parents house. Because of it, people talk about me as "gold digger~hoe" and a disrespectful of the ladder. If I take a well paid job now, people will judge me for financial "job hopping", skipping the "ladder". Didn't have a man in my life at any point in this period. Is there a way to fix that?

Trouble is a reputation can follow you and people who don’t know you get told things by others and judge or dislike you automatically which is unfortunate even though they don’t know you just judging on what others have said I’ve done etc etc which isn’t nice I’m ashamed of my behaviour looking back but I get confused of the system of how people work lol people tell you x y and z about what they don’t like etc and when you say it to the organ grinders the same folk what agree with you are the ones turning the back on you after the event as if I’m a #£&@ then comes the paranoia as might be a sly eye or something and paranoidley you can start to think someone’s said something to that person hence the sly eye about something I’ve done before and you start to think they don’t like you naturally I’ve always found it good how people say I’d do x y z but when organ grinders there don’t say / do anything I’m the silly one doing it and it’s cost me jobs and credibility and reputation as a &#@£ which isn’t nice as from my point of view the things I’ve said and done in previous employments I only said what I thought everyone wanted to hear but when said everyone thinks your an idiot and turns against you I struggle with that as it’s like whattttttt??? Then the whole nobody likes you thoughts creep in etc etc then ye chasin trying to prove to people that actually I’m ok all that paranoia is driving you to chase peoples approval if that makes sense ……………..I’m not naturally a &£#@ there other things happen what got me to that point of giving it back …………when started world of work I found my breaking point I was bitter about things in the past and my head was just a mass of swirling thoughts ready to pop at any moment and unfortunately seeing how unfair workplaces can be it’s like I popped I found my breaking point and used to go on rants and rages regularly at things deemed unfair to the organ grinders on a daily basis and this trend followed me threw various employments in my life yes I was a man who had issues clearly but we all have a breaking point and a chapter to close and this is mine truthfully I’m ashamed and regret somethings I’ve said in the moment of madness ( I’ve had many ) however I was a literal preassure cooker waiting to go off and since starting work many years ago from Saturday boy to adult worker I’ve had many a run ins with many a boss and I am ashamed of it but if ever there’s a place where things can be seemed as unfair / unjust it’s work and all I will say is since starting work many years ago certain events what happened in the past it’s like my brain said enough I won’t take crap no more but it’s done me no favours only got me a bad rep which adds to more confusion lol which upsets me as it’s not the real me
