Thanks for making this video! I have a gen 3 WC like this that has similar symptoms, stops charging after a couple minutes with "internal fault" I'm going to give this a shot soon once I get the relays in. A couple tips that might make removal of the old ones easier: - use flux to get better thermal conductivity heating up existing joints (also, use it when soldering in the new relays, helps a ton with getting solder to adhere) - add leaded solder to existing joints to lower melting temperature - use solder braid instead of a desoldering pump to save on cost/less tools - use a hot air station instead of 4-5 irons 😄

Thank you for the video! Do I need to change all three relays? The price of each is $10, comes out for all $30

Thanks for making this video! My unit failed after a few years and they sent me a replacement but it came with a 24' cable and I prefer the shorter 8.5' cable. Can you think of any concerns about taking the shorter cable from my older unit and moving it over to the new replacement unit? From your video, it looks like it would be straightforward.

It’s very straight forward, you should have no problems swapping them
