How to fix your VW T3 T25 Vanagon Syncro Diff Locks *FULL VIDEO

Here is something we wanted to do for a while. We are trying to find the time between running a busy web shop and travelling the world to make more of these type of KZbin videos so please give the video a like, and subscribe to keep us motivated to make more and give back to the van community.
Loads of people contact us when they buy a VW T25-T3-Vanagon Syncro only to find the diff locks don't work. It isn't a hard job to do but can be time consuming waiting for lubricant to soak in and work its magic and knowing your way around a VW Syncro diff lock system will always help.
We put together what we know about this area of the van and filmed us getting a diff lock system back up and working.

Nice job Jed. I remember going down this deep, dark path years ago on my 3-knob syncro. Not a fun job and the vacuum gremlins on these old vans can be a real chore.

Good vid man. I went through all this a couple of months ago. Your video was nearly exactly the same as the process as i went through. Even down to the damaged orange boot on actuator pin, except i never replaced mine and it is working, so im wondering what its purpose is.

Great video… did you get the trans lock to disengage by itself? Mine seems too not come out all the way and causing into lock again.
