How to Fix Zoom H1 audio interface issues on Windows 11 - audio is distorted or not audible

I was having problems using my Zoom H1 as an audio interface in Windows 11. The audio wasn't coming through. The solution was to upgrade the firmware of the Zoom H1 device, and install the latest "H Series ASIO Driver"
Windows 10/11 (64bit) (Released 06/25/2023) from Zoom.

THANK YOU!!! After installing Windows 11, I could not use H1 as a wired microphone. After installing the ASIO Driver, even without restarting, it started working perfectly again.

I could not flash this microphone according to your instructions, maybe I'm doing something wrong? I downloaded the bin file, put it on the SD card, installed the drivers, but the sound is still lousy. You can hear me like a child. Can you help me?

If your voice seems higher on the recording than actual life, your sample rate settings in Windows may be incorrect. If you have selected the sample rate of 44,100 Hz in the device, make sure you are not using 48,000 Hz on Windows settings. You should use 44,100 Hz for both, or 48,000 Hz for both. They need to match. Windows settings should match the sample rate of the device in Control Panel / Microphone settings.
