Great video, thanks! To me, the best solution to removing the + wire would be to use a servo extension that has the red wire removed. That way you don't have to risk damaging the pin/housing on the ESC connector itself or mutilate your USB programmer by bending the middle pin.

Thanks for making these videos. I know when I setup my quad I spent a lot of time finding information like this. Just a side note to clarify the comparison at the end, damped light is causing the motors to brake when the throttle is cut. Oneshot isn't required for that. For instance, my Rotorgeeks 12a ESC's support oneshot but not damped light, so they spin freely when the throttle is cut.

I like your slower and "just to review" style of instructional videos. They are easier to follow and more thorough than others. The BLHeli dampen part of you video would have been more revealing if you would have not chopped the throttle all the way off but maybe from 3/4 to 1/4 to show if there is dampening. From my understanding any throttle decrease should have dampening but I have never seen that bench tested. Chopping all the way is just showing drag brake similar to folding prop glider settings.

when you changed the parameters in BLhelisuite shouldn't you have pressed {write setup " before you press disconnect? another question would this turngy USB linker work with Emax 12A esc? thanks

hi, I saw your blheli with oneshot run smoothly on start spinning the motor. I have issue here. I did everything the same but, when i arm it, few of the motors cogging before actually spin up. When I disable oneshot feature, the issue gone. Any advice? Thanks

Nice informative video. I got a question, I was recently flashing a new Naze 32 acro board and the flashing went fine but when I tried to connect it says I need a newer version of Cleanflight configurator. I've downloaded the newer version of configurator but it acts like I haven't, still can't connect to the Naze board and still says I need a newer version of configurator. Any chance of doing a short video for doing this, it's probably something stupid I'm not doing but I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

Increases the rate of which that motor can spin so it makes it react faster

Dont need CF. For oneshot. Im running cc3d on OP 15.02 supports oneshot just fine.
