How to flash CN STOCK ROM to Lenovo LEGION Y700 2022 with ZUI14 (TB9707F) and Google Play - 2024

In this video I show you how to flash the Chinese stock ROM to the Android tablet Lenovo Legion Y700 model 2022.
This ROM has ZUI14, is based on Android 12 and has only 2 languages: Chinese and English but allows us to have all the features that has this tablet (which only came out in the Chinese market).

I was not aware of this "global ROM" situations with these tablets. Would you be able to help me with the 2022 Lenovo tab Pro chinese rom flashing as well? I have the Snapdragon edition

There doesn't seem to be much information about it but I recommend you to search on XDA mainly because there must be more people with the problem. Many times Chinese devices come with global roms with multiple languages but that makes them outdated very quickly and you have to find a way to go back to stock roms sadly

@@LinuxDroidMaster the 2023 model is set to be released in japan under the name nec lavie tab and the rom for that is out now. It comes stock with google services. From what I've read the only real drawback is that there's no pen support. There's already a korean tutorial from. No idea if it gets OTA as it's not officially released yet. I'll post the relevant links in another comment

I've read that in stock ROM the pencil works and that in ZUI 15 it works too but I don't have one to test so I can't confirm 100%

It does not lock the bootloader and you have widevine L1 enabled (I just checked it with the DRM info app)

My tablet was bricked because I tried flashing Global ROM. I wasn't aware that the latest update had region locking 😭 I was not able to enable debugging and unlock it before it was bricked. Is there another way to unlock the device and revert back to CN Rom?

I only can test prime video (I don't have the other platforms) and it works well. The tablet has L1 cert so in most of the apps it should work at max resolution

amigo no se cual paso estoy haciendo mal pero no logro que el qfile reconozca la tablet, baje los drives, descomprimi el rom, verifique que en los comandos reconozca la tableta, cuando procedo a apagarla para que caiga en el proceso de root dice no port available

Hey, i have the Lenovo yoga tab 13 yt-k606f with the 870 and i have the Chinese rom on it. Zui14. But lenovo wont update the zui anymore so its on Android 12. But Global rom is at android 13 and i want to have and try the global rom and see if i like it. But i have heard some stories about its difficult to flash from ZUI to Global row rom. Can you tell me more about it and if its possible and how i can do it? There is no information i can find on this particular tablet about flashing but i have found a site (needrom) that have the global roms and also the Chinese rom so i have at least found the roms. The Chinese rom are the one i have 14 something. And the row global roms are i think also android 12 but i am guessing i can OTA update the global from 12 to 13. What are your thoughts? We can do teamwiever if you want also if you want to check something first or have a look at it. Thank you. :)

@@sumeetsharma8482 its for the yoga tab 13. For the Yoga tab 13 the Chinese rom zui has only android 12. But the global rom for same tablet have android 13. Lenovo dont care about their customers and their support are a joke. So thats why we all are here to try get help from someone that knows more than a lenovo tech on their Lenovo forum. So i hope he answer me.

There is no official global rom for the y700 2022 model, only for the 2023. But ZUI 14 is on Android 13 and there are GSI ROMs on Android 14)

About the yoga tab 13 I can't tell you much because I don't have it. I would search on XDA and if you find how to flash the original stock ROM then I would try flashing everything xD also I would check if you can install GSI ROMs

Yes, you have a fake global ROM (as I had when I received the tablet). Check that you have the bootloader opened and you can flash the stock ROM without problems. And in case you had any problem you can ask me here or in Telegram/discord

My Legion Y700 got freeze.. then i turn it off, after that the tablet won't turn on again, if i press power button the tablet only vibrate once and then nothing happen.. what cause the error? it looks like failed to booting..

creo que si tengo el modelo de 2022, en la aplicación "device info HW", en el apartado "sistema" el "build date" me dice que fué en 21.02.22. o de que forma puedo comprobar el modelo o la rom que tengo instalada?

Para comprobar el modelo ve a los ajustes > sobre la tablet > "regulatory information". Si te aparece el modelo TB-9707F es el modelo 2022. También es fácil saberlo si tu tablet solo tiene un puerto USB tipo C es el 2022, si tiene dos (uno por el lado de los botones de volumen y otro más por abajo como si fuera el típico para cargarla) es el 2023. Si es el modelo 2022 deberías de poder hacer todo este proceso sin problema. Tu tablet viene con multiples idiomas? Si es el caso es que la tienda te ha instalado una ROM global antigua

Pues parece que la tienda le ha metido una ROM fake global desactualizada. A mi me venía con una fake global también y agradezco bastante el haberla actualizado jajaja lo único es que ahora está todo en inglés pero bueno tampoco me importa. Si quieres tener idiomas te puedes animar a meterle una ROM GSI y listo
