How to flash XiaoMi Mibox 3 Enhanced Edition MDZ-18-AA to Android TV (Boot Loop Solved)

I had the issue of getting into a boot loop after following the steps as shown in the video! after many annoying attempts of trying I figured out how to successfully flash Android TV on too XiaoMi Mailbox 3 Enhanced Edition MDZ-18-AA.

First of all, thank you for taking the time and making a video to help us solve that issue. Secondly, at the end of the video you mentioned an app named Purify, I've never actually actually saw it in the apps area and followed every step, but still seem to be stuck in the boot loop, you also said it took you six times, so i'll keep trying. I hope it will work after a few more tries, and will be sure to update. Thanks again!

All we needed to do when it started flashing is "Wipe all data" and everything started working properly afterwards...

just tested with another Bluetooth remote and it worked, get the $4 official remote from any Mi store near you or online, it will 100% work.

Unable to play local videos from hard drives or usb. Tried all the players like Modi, vlc, mx player. Only Audio files can be played.

You have to use your remote near the box, and make sure to plug off all usb attached devices.

I've got issues with Netflix on this OS along with STBEMU which simply crashes on going into the app settings to add a profile. The two most critical components to this box... I was using the chinese stable OS, stripped and on HAL Launcher and it was working without any issues.... Well... time to go back and do it all over again

thanks a lot for your great tutorial. my tv box firmware is 1.5.93. after upgrading to android tv sometimes screen goes black and until reboot, it doesn't work. the front light has the reaction when I press any button but I have to reboot it. can you help me how to make it??

@@flabianusdeddy Just reinstall it. When I install for 1st time my miracast not working, games crashed, every thing was bad. But in 2nd time everything is excellent. Just reinstall it bro.
